Una empresa china ofrece hacer el dique Potrero del Clavillo
En los próximos meses, la empresa PowerChina Limited presentará una propuesta técnica, económica y financiera para ejecutar el proyecto del complejo hídrico «Potrero del Clavillo – El Naranjal», con el objetivo de ser sometida a consideración de los equipos de gobierno de las provincias de Catamarca y Tucumán.
Así lo confirmó el Gobierno, luego de que el gobernador Raúl Jalil firmara el memorando de entendimiento con la reconocida empresa internacional para avanzar con los trabajos de cooperación en el desarrollo y ejecución del proyecto hídrico, que constituye una de las obras de captación y administración de agua, y generación hidroeléctrica más importantes del norte argentino.
El memorando fue rubricado en un encuentro virtual que Jalil mantuvo con los representantes de la empresa en China y América, en el marco de la gira de intercambio comercial en Pekín que realiza junto al presidente Alberto Fernández. El memorando será trasladado a la gobernación de la provincia de Tucumán para su correspondiente firma.
Pasos
Se espera que, tras la presentación formal de la oferta técnica y económica y la evaluación de las provincias, el siguiente paso sea la aprobación de la oferta financiera para la celebración de contratos de ingeniería, suministro y construcción del proyecto mediante la subsidiaria PowerChina Argentina.
Con este acuerdo, Catamarca y Tucumán se comprometen a colaborar con la empresa en la elaboración y presentación de la propuesta, con asistencia e información relevante, y facilitando las condiciones de trabajo para viabilizar el acceso a la traza y los sectores involucrados en el desarrollo del proyecto del complejo.
«El proyecto hídrico Potrero del Clavillo presupone un amplio complejo concatenado de embalses y obras complementarias para lograr captar, almacenar y gestionar adecuadamente el importante caudal de agua de los ríos Las Cañas, Gastona y Medina.
El objetivo principal de esta administración del agua es la potabilización y riego, y en simultáneo la generación hidroeléctrica mediante el aprovechamiento de energía hidráulica para robustecer el suministro general a las dos provincias», explicó el Gobierno.
La construcción de este complejo también permitiría reducir el impacto de las crecidas de los ríos sobre las hectáreas productivas, y ampliar el margen de las mismas con un nuevo suministro de recurso hídrico, además de generar oportunidades para actividades del rubro turístico y la pesca deportiva
