A comienzos de marzo, el jefe de la red social, con base en San Francisco, anunció la puesta a la venta de este primer tuit, a través de un enlace al sitio «Valuables», donde los interesados pueden mandar sus ofertas, consignó la agencia AFP.
Comprar este mensaje significa adquirir «un certificado digital de tuit, único porque ha sido firmado y verificado por el creador», explica el sitio de subastas, algo similar a un autógrafo.
Este domingo figuraba una oferta de unos 2,5 millones de dólares para hacerse con él.
El comprador recibirá los los metadatos del tuit original, que incluirá información como el momento en que se publicó el tuit y su contenido.
En la plataforma Valuables, de venta de tuits, explican que «tener cualquier contenido digital puede ser una inversión financiera», con «valor sentimental como un autógrafo en una tarjeta de béisbol.
