Afirman que el comercio electrónico en la Argentina crecerá un 56% en los próximos cinco años
Durante el 2020, el comercio electrónico creció un 54% en América Latina, con picos de 87% en países como Perú o de 61% en Brasil, y se estima que para el 2025 el ecommerce crecerá un 96% en la región.
“Desde Google nuestro objetivo es poder acompañar a todos los negocios para que puedan llegar lo mejor preparados posible, adaptarse a este nuevo escenario y convertirse en actores relevantes durante los próximos 5 años. Es por esto que seguimos invirtiendo en construir un ecosistema abierto en el que negocios de todos los tamaños puedan crecer y alcanzar a sus consumidores, nivelando el terreno de juego”, explicó Evangelina Suarez, Directora Comercial de la Industria Retail en Google Argentina.
Según los analistas a cargo de la investigación, el crecimiento del e-commerce no significará la desaparición de las tiendas físicas. Se estima que éstas cumplirán nuevos roles como puntos de experiencias, centros de distribución, de venta y de pick up. Seguirán representando el 67% del crecimiento de las ventas totales en Argentina hacia 2025, y un 57% en la región.
El informe explica que hoy los consumidores argentinos usan en promedio 7.4 canales para la investigación y 5.6 canales para efectuar la compra. Entre los preferidos para la primera etapa se encuentran los buscadores, las redes sociales y el video online. Mientras que para la compra, prefieren las tiendas físicas y online, los sitios de retailers o las apps.
Por su parte, Evangelina Suárez destacó: “Los retailers que sigan estrategias de omnicanalidad serán los que representarán la mayor parte del crecimiento hacia 2025, destacándose de aquellos que usen exclusivamente estrategias para la presencialidad o el online. Según el informe, las estrategias omnicanal crecerán 83% en Argentina durante los próximos 5 años y representarán 60% del crecimiento total de ventas”.
