Desde el punto de vista político nunca se sabe dónde está, se cree peronista pero vota contra el peronismo en todos lados. En la cámara de Diputados su representante (por su esposa, la senadora Beatriz Ávila) ha pasado por siete u ocho bloques y en el Senado, lo mismo. Es una persona inconstante, inconsistente y con un proyecto de ser gobernador. Pero no… (Alfaro) llegó a intendente por la UCR y, sin el radicalismo, no llegará a otra cosa», sentenció Yedlin.
También se despachó con críticas al ex presidente Mauricio Macri: «Macri es el jefe de la oposición nacional hoy, es quien posiblemente decida al candidato a presidente por la oposición. Hizo una gestión de gobierno malísima, endeudó al país de forma histórica y nunca me olvido que cuando hicimos la ley de Blanqueo de Capitales que prohibía a los políticos blanquear y él permitió que sus familias blanqueen fondos. Tiene muchos problemas que resolver en la Justicia y no debería volver a ser presidente».
Consultado sobre el Frente de Todos, una de las consultas fue si Cristina Fernández debe ser candidata a presidenta en 2023: «No creo, tiene que participar en la decisión de la fórmula pero no creo que sea candidata».
