Alfaro repitió su estrategia y el Concejo se quedó sin quórum
Por el pedido de licencia del intendente, el manzurismo y Fuerza Republicana no reunieron los 12 votos necesarios para insistir con la ordenanza vetada que exige al mandatario a tomar licencia para acogerse a la campaña y por tal motivo la oposición decidió levantar la sesión prevista para este martes.
Por tercera sesión consecutiva, el intendente de la capital, Germán Alfaro, presentó nuevamente el pedido de licencia para ausentarse de la capital y el presidente del Concejo Deliberante, Fernando Juri, asumió el mando del Municipio.
Con esta decisión, Alfaro elude nuevamente que pueda concretarse la sesión en la que la oposición tenía previsto insistir en la ordenanza que lo obligaría a tomarse licencia durante la campaña proselitista, que el 30 de septiembre dará inicio en el marco de las elecciones generales de noviembre.
El candidato a senador nacional por «Juntos para Construir» (Juntos por el Cambio), reitera de esta manera la estrategia que había adoptado la semana pasada para evitar que el manzurismo y el bussismo lo obliguen a alejarse provisoriamente de la jefatura municipal para abocarse a la campaña electoral.
Esta decisión de Alfaro impide que la oposición cuente con los números necesarios (2/3 del total de los concejales) para insistir en la ordenanza vetada, en razón de la ausencia de Juri.
En función de esto, la oposición del Concejo, que es mayoría, decidió no bajar al recinto, motivo por el cual se levantó la sesión por falta de quórum.
Al respecto, el concejal manzurista Ernesto Nagle explicó que ante el pedido de licencia del intendente Alfaro “decidimos en bloque no bajar a sesión para que este proyecto de ordenanza directamente pase a Comisión de Petición y Poderes. Será tratado allí para que se revea más adelante”
