La Selección Argentina, le ganó por 3 a 0 a Croacia y sacó “boleto” para la final del próximo domingo.
Una jugada para “enmarcarla”.

La Selección Argentina ganó, goleó, gustó, y sacó “pasaje” para jugar la final del Mundial Qatar 2022, producto de una gran performance frente a Croacia (subcampeón vigente) en una de las semifinales. “La Scaloneta” jugo de local en el Estadio Lusail. Argentina comprobó en los primeros 25 minutos la reputación del mediocampo compuesto por Luka Modric, Marcelo Brozovic y Mateo Kovacic, quienes le dieron a su equipo buena circulación, ayudados por los laterales y los extremos para poder generar superioridad numérica.

Lionel Scaloni, consciente de esa virtud rival, dispuso el ingreso de Leandro Paredes para ganar la batalla en esa zona, donde Rodrigo De Paul y Enzo Fernández fueron los mejores por presión y pase.

La situación que derivó en el penal la generó el mediocampista ex River Plate con un pase al vacío para Julián, que aprovechó un hueco entre los centrales para ponerse cara a cara con el arquero Dominik Livakovic, quien lo embistió al momento de la definición.

“La Pulga” de baja participación hasta ese momento, aislado por la poca tenencia del equipo, inclinó el resultado a favor de Argentina con una ejecución inatajable al ángulo superior izquierdo.

Croacia sintió el golpe de verse en desventaja y la tendencia del juego también cambió en favor de la selección argentina.

Cinco minutos después, Julián tuvo una aparición asombrosa: bloqueó un centro en posición defensiva, recogió la pelota en campo propio, a la altura del círculo central, lideró una contra a pura velocidad y definió ante la salida del arquero tras verse favorecido con dos rebotes ante la marca de Jospi Juranovic y Borna Sosa.

El técnico croata Zlatko Dalic se fue al vestuario con la mirada en el piso, meneando la cabeza, incrédulo por cómo el partido le quedó cuesta arriba en tan breve lapso. Las modificaciones ofensivas en el descanso y al principio del segundo tiempo le dieron al equipo más juego por los costados.

Scaloni respondió con el ingreso de Lisandro Martínez para formar la línea defensiva de 3-5 que ya le dio buenos resultados en esta Copa del Mundo. De esa forma pudo controlar los últimos intentos de Croacia antes que la semifinal quedara totalmente resuelta gracias a una genialidad de su capitán.

Messi armó una jugada personal por la banda derecha, arrastró la marca de Josko Gvardiol, un duro zaguero de 20 años, y le entregó el tercero a Julián para celebrar de cara al público argentino.

Esta vez el seleccionado argentino no tuvo que sufrir como le pasó con Australia y Países Bajos en instancias anteriores. La amplitud del resultado y los cambios le quitaron ritmo al partido y lo transformaron en una dulce espera del festejo final.

El DT argentino  le dio minutos a jugadores que hasta la fecha, no habían participado: Paulo Dybala, Ángel Correa y Juan Foyth (los únicos que no vieron acción hasta ahora son los arqueros Gerónimo Rulli y Franco Armani).

Argentina cumplió su objetivo: es nuevamente finalista del Mundial y el domingo, “cueste lo que cueste”, como cantaron sus hinchas y los propios jugadores, irá por el sueño de todo el país.
