El Gobierno ya tiene listo el proyecto de legalización del aborto
Vilma Ibarra reveló que secretaria legal y técnica reafirmó la postura oficialista, que pretende «evitar muertes de mujeres evitables».
A su vez, a diez años del reconocimiento del matrimonio igualitario en el país.
Vilma Ibarra es la persona que está detrás de cada firma del presidente Alberto Fernández. Es decir, la que se encarga de que cada medida que se toma tenga el aval jurídico correspondiente. Por eso, en medio de un sinfín de normativas relativas a la lucha contra la pandemia, la fallida intervención de Vicentin y el posible impuesto a la riqueza, su labor resulta fundamental. Sin embargo, invitada por Luis Novaresio a Animales Sueltos, la secretaria legal y técnica se tomó el tiempo para hacer hincapié en otras dos iniciativas con mucha relevancia social. La primera ya es una realidad: el reconocimiento del matrimonio igualitario en Argentina, del cual hoy se cumplen 10 años y cuyo proyecto la tuvo como autora. La segunda tiene otro debate por delante en el Congreso: la despenalización de la interrupción voluntaria del embarazo.
“Está listo el proyecto de legalización del aborto”, afirmó Ibarra. Y reafirmó la postura oficialista con respecto a esta temática: “En tema de aborto está todo bastante inventado y debatido. Nosotros en ese sentido, lo ha expresado el Presidente mucho mejor que yo, queremos evitar muertes de mujeres evitables. Hoy estamos en el peor de los mundos. Los abortos suceden en cientos de miles y además las mujeres mueren en abortos clandestinos, amenazadas de ir a la cárcel”.
“Queremos cambiar ese estado de las cosas. Queremos que sucedan la menor cantidad de abortos, por eso creemos mucho en la ESI (educación sexual integral), y además queremos evitar las muertes evitables de mujeres que hoy se mueren por una ley que las amenaza con ir a la cárcel”, insistió, aunque todavía no está definido cuándo se enviará el proyecto al Congreso.
Asimismo, la funcionaria celebró la sanción de la ley de matrimonio igualitario en el país, de la que hoy se cumplen 10 años. “Sectores de homofobia aún hay, los vivimos, existen y se padecen mucho, pero creo que la sociedad argentina no es mayoritariamente así. Creo que hay sectores conservadores, que tienen más resistencia a los cambios sociales, pero mayoritariamente la Argentina tiene una población muy atenta a los derechos”, comenzó, analizando la situación actual.

Vilma Ibarra fue la principal impulsora del proyecto de ley que finalmente reconoció en Argentina al matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo.Y luego rememoró: “Dimos una batalla muy hermosa por esa ley, que no le hace daño a nadie, solo reconoció derechos que le habían sido negados a gente durante mucho tiempo. ¿Por qué? Porque se consideraba que una determinada orientación sexual podía tener derechos y otra no. Pensado así, es una discriminación enorme. Creo que pudimos decirlo y lo pudimos decir bien. Nos quedamos con las palabras más lindas: respecto, dignidad, diversidad, libertad, democratización, ampliación de derechos”.
“¿Por qué uno va a tener miedo de decir quién es, qué vive, de contar la felicidad de amar a quien uno quiera amar?”, reflexionó quien fuera la pieza clave para que el proyecto prosperara. Y enseguida destacó: “Logramos construir un consenso político transversal muy interesante. Habla de que, cuando la dirigencia política contacta con la sociedad, con las demandas sociales y se pone de acuerdo para ampliar derechos, podemos hacerlo”.

La supuesta puja de poder entre Alberto Fernández y Cristina Kirchner: “Por suerte, en democracia cuando la gente elige le pone la lapicera en la mano a un Presidente. Y por supuesto, Cristina es una persona importante en este Gobierno. Tenía un caudal de votos muy importante y lo tiene. Es la famosa frase que decía Alberto ‘sin Cristina no se puede y con Cristina sola no alcanza’. Esta coalición que lograron hacer decidió nominar a Alberto Fernández como Presidente y por suerte tiene un muy buen diálogo con una vicepresidenta, que es una gran representante de un sector importante”.
El intento de expropiación de Vicentin: “Se presentó el tema con un grupo empresario con enormes dificultades económicas, con una sospecha muy alta de vaciamiento y con créditos muy altos tomados del Estado nacional, que es la plata de todos los argentinos y las argentinas que pagan sus impuestos. Ante una situación de posible pérdida de trabajo para muchos trabajadores y con un alto poder en materia de agroexportación, se entendió que había que tratar de mantener las fuentes de trabajo. Probablemente no se armó completamente y no se pudo comunicar como correspondía, pero sin dudas hubo una medida cuidadosa”.
Cuarentena estricta vs. libertades individuales: “Hemos sido muy cautelosos. Recuerdo al principio de esta pandemia y había sectores políticos importantes que estaban reclamando el estado de sitio. El Presidente tomó una decisión que hoy, con el diario del lunes, tiene un valor mayor porque había alternativas, que eran cuarentena floja y apostar a mantener la economía y después se vio que esos resultados terminaron siendo muy malos para la salud de la gente y muy malo también para la economía. Dijimos desde la primera norma que cualquier medida podía ser revisada por un juez”.
