Cada semana en Tucumán se roban unas cuarenta ruedas de vehículos
Jorge Luis Pérez, dueño de un taller mecánico ubicado en la calle Santiago del Estero al 1.600, aporta un dato revelador: “Por semana reponemos entre 10 y 15 neumáticos de clientes que llegan al local derivados por las compañías de seguro por el robo de sus ruedas”.
Gustavo Rodríguez, empleado de otro taller mecánico ubicado en San Lorenzo al 1.700, que opera con unas 20 compañías de seguros reponiendo las cubiertas robadas en vehículos, cuenta que “por día estamos entregando entre cuatro y cinco ruedas, lo que hace que por semana sean alrededor de 25”.
Según Rodríguez, el robo de neumáticos se ha convertido en algo habitual en la provincia. El vendedor estima a partir de la cantidad de clientes que atienden en el taller, que en el último año “los robos crecieron entre un 10% y un 15%”.
Según informaron Pérez y Rodríguez, del total de trabajos que se realizan por robo, más o menos el 60% tuvieron como objetivo a camionetas. El primero de ellos cree que esto es así porque “el auxilio, al estar abajo del vehículo está más a mano, a diferencia de los autos, en los que muchas veces los auxilios están guardados dentro del baúl”.
“A veces los autos vienen con su rueda de auxilio distinta a las otras cuatro; al ser alto el costo de la cubierta y ante la escasez de gomas, los clientes tratan de buscarle la vuelta para que les repongan el neumático”, dijo Pérez. “Denuncian que están usando la rueda de auxilio porque les robaron alguna de las otras y así tienen que comprar una menos y tienen las cinco iguales”, confió.
No son pocas las víctimas del robo de sus neumáticos que optan por comunicarse directamente con su seguro, en caso de tenerlo, o arreglárselas por su cuenta, en lugar de efectuar la denuncia del hurto en la Policía. “Es una pérdida de tiempo hacer una denuncia porque nunca te dan una solución”, se quejó Antonio Fosares, el taxista que sufrió el robo de dos neumáticos de su auto en el raid delictivo que afectó a cuatro automóviles en Frías Silva primera cuadra.
Antonio dijo que si bien personal policial se presentó el miércoles por la mañana en la cuadra, no cree que las autoridades puedan darle una solución al problema. “Yo ayer perdí todo un día de trabajo porque no tenía las ruedas; hoy pude trabajar gracias a que me las prestaron, pero esto fue un daño enorme porque cada una cuesta más de $45.000 y voy a tener que poner de mi bolsillo para recuperarla, porque sólo tengo seguro contra terceros”, añadió.
Antonio y Virginia, dos vecinos a los que también les robaron ruedas, dijeron que el martes a la noche fueron dos policías y ayer fue gente de la Dirección de Investigaciones a hacerles preguntas y que intentaron contactar al dueño del negocio de la esquina, que tiene cámara de vigilancia, pero no pudieron.
