Carlos Menem hoy cumple 90 años y está internado

El ex presidente Carlos Saúl Menem fue internado nuevamente anoche en la sala de terapia intensiva del Sanatorio Los Arcos, en el barrio porteño de Palermo, donde permanecía con pronóstico reservado.

En ese sentido, no trascendieron detalles sobre el estado de salud del actual senador por La Rioja, quien este jueves cumple 90 años, tras haber sido dado de alta el pasado lunes del Instituto Argentino del Diagnóstico (IADT) después de dos semanas de tratamiento por una afección respiratoria delicada.

El último parte médico del IADT señaló en ese momento: «En el día de la fecha y tras haber sido internado en UTI por un cuadro que luego se comprobó era una severa neumonía bacteriana, fue externado del IADT por indicación de los médicos tratantes Luis de la Fuente (cardiólogo) y Roberto Reussi (clínico)».

El sábado 13 de junio Menem había sido internado, mientras que desde la semana pasada ya se incorporaba de la cama y comía solo.

Las placas de tórax mostraban una clara mejoría en el cuadro, habían informado los médicos.

Al ex presidente se le practicaron ya dos tests de coronavirus que dieron negativo y el alta, que llegó el lunes pasado se demoraba por problemas vinculados a la diabetes, que le generaban un riesgo cardíaco, según fuentes del equipo médico.

Durante el fin de semana de aquella primera internación, desde el entorno de Menem se había informado que a pesar de la «neumonía y debilidad muscular», nunca tuvo respiración asistida, que estaba de buen ánimo y hasta había hablado por teléfono.

Menem había pedido que dejaran pasar a su hija, Zulemita, para tenerla cerca y ella lo acompañó toda la internación.

Justamente la hija del ex mandatario había celebrado el alta, este lunes, con una foto y un mensaje de agradecimiento a los médicos desde el domicilio familiar del barrio de Belgrano. (NA)
