El director del hospital de referencia confirmó además incrementos de la demanda en los consultorios febriles y de derivaciones. Alrededor de 16 trabajadores del hospital Centro de Salud contrajeron covid-19.
Así lo informó el director de ese establecimiento de alta complejidad, Marcelo Ferraro, quien además señaló que se ha registrado una mayor demanda de los consultorios febriles y un crecimiento de las derivaciones, en el contexto de incrementos de casos positivos.
“Es preocupante que los compañeros de la salud adquieran la infección. Obviamente, nadie está exento de contraerla. Cuando hay un compañero que sale positivo, se hace un bloque de los contactos y se cierran algunos sectores.
Por su puesto, se suplen esos sectores con otros compañeros sanitarios”.
Respecto del incremento de las consultas por síntomas de coronavirus, el médico remarcó que “la atención no se resintió”. “Lo que puede ocurrir es demora en la asistencia, ya que se debe cumplir con el protocolo”, añadió.
