Comenzaron los trabajos para la instalación del nuevo puente peatonal de la avenida Mate de Luna
La Municipalidad de San Miguel de Tucumán comenzó este jueves con el traslado de la primera parte de la estructura del puente peatonal que será instalado en los próximos días en avenida Mate de Luna al 2.100, en la intersección con Amador Lucero y José Ignacio Thames.
El secretario de Obras Públicas municipal, Alfredo “Fredy” Toscano, informó que en esta primera etapa se colocarán las rampas del puente, para evitar un prolongado corte de tránsito vehicular en la avenida Mate de Luna, teniendo en cuenta que es una de las arterias más transitadas de la ciudad. En este sentido, desde la repartición se informó que durante el fin de semana el tránsito permanecerá liberado en ese sector; mientras que la próxima semana se informará en qué días y horarios se realizarán cortes por las obras.
“Hoy empezaron los trabajos para que los tucumanos, a fines de este mes, puedan disfrutar del nuevo puente, que va a ser mucho más que un puente peatonal, ya que se va a construir un paseo donde habrá bancos, puntos selfies con vista panorámica de la ciudad, pantallas LED, un ascensor y nueva iluminación”, detalló el funcionario. Toscano indicó que en el sector “también habrá un pequeño bar, que va a generar empleo en la zona, y personal que va a cuidar y mantener el lugar, que será jerarquizado con estas obras en una de las avenidas principales de nuestra ciudad”.
El secretario de Obras Públicas informó que en las próximas semanas continuarán los trabajos para la instalación del puente peatonal.
“Falta que traigan las estructuras de la pasarela, la instalación de las columnas metálicas, se va a trabajar en el ensamble, aún faltan retoques de pintura, y también se va a trabajar con el piso para darle un acabo final a esta obra”, precisó.
Toscano sostuvo que “esta es una obra más que hace el intendente German Alfaro para modernizar y dinamizar a San Miguel de Tucumán y, fundamentalmente, para generar empleo”.
