Con 20 puestos, abren las puertas del Mercado Barrial de la plazoleta Dorrego
La Municipalidad de San Miguel de Tucumán habilitó esta semana el edifico, donde funcionan 20 puestos de distintos rubros, como panadería, carnicería, rotisería, productos regionales, pollería, verdulería, fiambrería, pescadería y semillería, entre otros. Está previsto que próximamente se sumen más puestos.
El intendente Germán Alfaro visitó este martes el mercadito de barrio sur y recordó que el municipio remodeló y acondicionó el edificio para que allí se instalen los ex puesteros del Mercado del Norte que no tenían otra fuente de ingresos y que no pudieron alquilar otros locales, tras la clausura del viejo edificio de calle Maipú y Mendoza, por peligro de derrumbe.
“Estamos poniendo en funcionamiento el antiguo mercadito de la plazoleta Dorrego. Todos los puesteros son gente que tuvieron que salir del Mercado del Norte y están instalando su nuevo emprendimiento en este lugar con ayuda del municipio”, explicó Alfaro, quien estuvo acompañado por funcionarios municipales. “Los productos son muy buenos y accesibles. Invitamos a los vecinos de la zona y de otros lugares que vengan y compren aquí”, expresó el jefe municipal.
El intendente aclaró que el mantenimiento del predio estará a cargo de la Municipalidad de la Capital. “Es un momento importante para nosotros porque es un emprendimiento que estamos haciendo como familia. El espacio es beneficioso poder mostrar nuestros productos”, señaló Emilia Albarracín, dueña del local “La Pacha”, que ofrece productos regionales, de forrajería y repostería; jugos naturales y snacks saludables, entre otros.
Por su parte, el encargado de la pizzería “Ginsesito Parra”, agradeció “al intendente por el espacio por facilitar para trabajar y por el reordenamiento del mercado”. Y agregó: “Desde ayer estamos atendiendo y estamos trabajando bastante bien. Tenemos buenas repuestas de los vecinos”.
