Este jueves el INDEC difunde el IPC de junio, que estaría por encima del 5%. La llegada de Silvina Batakis a Economía quedó envuelta en gran incertidumbre que disparó la inercia. Analistas estiman un cierre del mes más que elevado y sólo una desaceleración tenue en los siguientes.
Tras una semana de fuerte inestabilidad en la que saltaron los dólares paralelos y hubo fuertes remarcaciones en los precios de bienes durables y de consumo habitual, los economistas empeoraron sus proyecciones para la inflación mensual a no menos de 7% y prevén un IPC en 90% para 2022.
La tormenta económica que se vivió en los primeros días de julio, con la salida de Martín Guzmán y la llegada de Silvina Batakis al Ministerio de Economía, tuvo sus efectos en lo cotidiano con mercado sin precios y remarcaciones “preventivas”, ante lo que muchos esperan conduzca a una devaluación fuerte del peso.
Si bien tanto Batakis como el presidente del BCRA, Miguel Pesce, insiste en que no habrá salto abrupto en el dólar, la brecha entre el oficial y los paralelos (el blue y los financieros) se disparó por encima del 100% y la expectativa devaluatoria se profundizó en las últimas jornadas.
En ese contexto, y mientras el presidente Alberto Fernández y su ministra de Economía, analizaban este domingo “las primeras medidas” a anunciar para contener el malhumor de los mercados y frenar la alta inflación, los analistas ya dejaron de lado los cálculos hechos apenas hace unos días y empeoraron sus pronósticos para julio, los meses siguientes y el dato de cierre del año.
Inercia acelerada, ruido político y una estimación anual cerca de los tres dígitos
La incertidumbre que se apoderó de la primera semana de julio dejó un salto de 2,5% en los precios de los alimentos y bebidas, según indicó el relevamiento que realiza la consultora LCG.
Si bien el aumento de los primeros días del mes no difiere de manera sustancial de lo ocurrido en la primera semana de junio (alza de 2,8%) y mayo (suba de 2% en los primeros cinco días), desde la consultora enfatizaron una “marcada aceleración de la inercia” inflacionaria, con el 34% de los precios relevados con alzas.
El ritmo de remarcación evidenciada en los últimos días “equivale a suponer que todos los productos relevados sufren algún aumento de precios en menos de un mes”, indicó LCG.
Ante la situación de inestabilidad, “que difícilmente se logre moderar en el corto plazo”, desde la consultora corrigieron su previsión de inflación 2022 al 90%.
La consultora FMyA, que conduce Fernando Marull, también ajustó al 90% su estimación de inflación para 2022. Por el “fogonazo de la primera semana”, sube a 7% el IPC esperado para julio (desde el 5% previsto antes), mientras espera una desaceleración para los próximos meses pero en niveles muy altos: 6,2% para agosto y 5,5% para septiembre.
En ese sentido, dijo que a diferencia de marzo, los alimentos “no subieron tanto” en hasta el viernes 8, y expuso la “fuerte remarcación” de bienes durables de la primera semana de julio respondió “a la lentitud en las definiciones de Batakis para calmar al mercado, lo que generó una incertidumbre que repercutió en la suba del dólar blue y en la brecha por la expectativa de devaluación del oficial”.
“Esto provocó que, a modo de cobertura, haya muchas remarcaciones y faltantes sobre todo en los Durables importados (como tecnología, construcción y textiles, entre otros).
Ricardo Delgado, de la consultora Analytica, sumó: “la nueva realidad hizo que quedaran viejas todas las estimaciones en apenas días, sí lo que vemos es que el consumo está cayendo y la aceleración inflacionaria es real: julio tiene un piso de 6%”.
En declaraciones a radio Rivadavia, el economista consideró fundamental que esta semana el Gobierno salga a anunciar medidas que permitan descomprimir la fuerte tensión que reina.

En medio de la negociación por la nueva etapa de Precios Cuidados, Lácteos y Panificados fueron los dos sectores que tuvieron más aumentos en el arranque de julio, según LCG.
Así, alimentos y bebidas muestran un alza promedio mensual de 5,4% en las últimas 4 semanas y 5% punta a punta en el mismo periodo.
