En un cuadernillo que se titula La Escuela 2021. Compromiso y transformación, el Ministerio de Educación de la Nación avanzó con las pautas de la vuelta a la presencialidad en las escuelas a partir del ciclo lectivo 2021.
Según confirmó el ministro Nicolás Trotta a Clarín, se buscará que en todo el país, en todos los niveles, todos los alumnos vuelvan a las aulas, con protocolo y, según la cantidad de alumnos del curso, cumpliendo en principio un esquema híbrido que les permita tener clases en la escuela dos o tres días y complementar el resto con la educación virtual.
