«El 42% de los tucumanos mayores de 18 años están vacunados al menos con una dosis»
Durante la visita al Depósito Central del Siprosa donde recibió 33.600 dosis de Astrazeneca, ministra de Salud, Rossana Chahla, destacó que el 42% del padrón de tucumanos aptos para vacunarse (1.184.566) ya lo hicieron y que ya se colocaron 665 mil dosis. Los datos fueron revelados en virtud de aquellas personas que aún no quieren vacunarse o temen a los efectos adversos de las mismas.
“Tenemos que tener en cuenta que los efectos adversos son muy simples y leves, pasan en 24 y 48 horas. Hemos vacunado a más de 665.000 personas donde no hemos tenido los efectos adversos que se vieron en otros países”, dijo ante una consulta por casos de trombosis ocurridos en el exterior.
En este sentido, la funcionaria resaltó que “es importante que la población tenga la inmunización porque es mucho más grave el Covid. Si tenemos un factor de riesgo, podemos consultar con nuestro médico para evacuar dudas. Queremos decir a los tucumanos que no tengan miedo con la vacunación. Necesitamos tener la mayor cantidad de personas vacunadas”.
Inmunidad ante nuevas cepas
“Lo que se conoce hasta aquí es que las vacunas son efectivas contra las nuevas cepas. Todas las recomendaciones las tenemos que cumplir. Aun siendo joven y sin comorbilidades puedo tener complicaciones y fallecer por Covid grave”, sostuvo Chahla.
Además, recomendó: “Continuar con el uso del barbijo, el distanciamiento y evitar reuniones sociales, sobre todo ahora, que viene el Día del Padre. La vacuna no tiene un efecto inmediato. Hay que esperar un tiempo para tener anticuerpos. Las nuevas cepas atacan a personas más jóvenes y también puede ser más grave la enfermedad”.
Vacuna antigripal
A su vez, la ministra declaró que las personas que ya fueron inmunizadas, luego de 15 días, deben llegarse a cualquier centro de salud para acceder a la vacunación antigripal, especialmente personas mayores y niños menores de dos años.
“Estamos viendo un aumento de casos de bronquiolitis. Las mamás tienen que tener mucho cuidado. Lo más importante es la vacunación y el lavado de manos” y explicó que el personal de salud debe discriminar a pacientes con síntomas respiratorios como gripe y bronquiolitis, de los que tienen Covid.
Salas de atención abreviada
Además, contó que está garantizada la atención: “tenemos una estructura armada con salas de atención abreviada, donde atendemos a pacientes con síntomas respiratorias. Se hace el diagnóstico diferencial que plantea un doble desafío. Todo lo que tenga que ver con bronquiolitis va a salas de atención abreviada con personal formado”.
