El concejal Argañaraz volverá a impulsar un proyecto de estacionamiento para bicicletas

El concejal radical José «Lucho» Argañaraz volverá a impulsar un proyecto suyo para que los estacionamientos asignen un lugar para el anclaje de bicicletas. «En mayo del 2020 presenté un proyecto para que los estacionamientos tengan un espacio destinado a bicicletas.
Cuando ya se veía que la circulación en este medio de movilidad iba a ser masivo. Esto generó que cada vez haya más ciclistas en la ciudad.
Una de las cuestiones que faltaba legislar era en cuanto a estacionamientos privados. Una persona que andan en bicicleta como medio de movilidad, que además es sustentable, no tiene donde estacionar. Quiere pagar una hora de estacionamiento y no tiene donde hacerlo porque ninguna le recibe la bicicleta y termina dejándola en cualquier lado», explicó el edil.
El reimpulso de la iniciativa ocurre tras los reclamos de ciclistas para exigir a la ciudad que incentive el uso de los medios de transporte sustentable, como las bicicletas.
«El proyecto exige a los estacionamientos privados y públicos que reserven un lugar de anclaje de bicicletas de un 10% del lugar total, con una tarifa acorde al lugar físico.
Donde entra un auto se calcula que entran ocho bicis, entonces la tarifa del proyecto dice que no puede superar el 20% del valor de la hora de un auto. El estacionamiento no deja de ganar dinero», finalizó el radical.
