El Concejo de la capital elegirá el lunes al probable sucesor de Alfaro
El resultado de las elecciones del domingo serán claves para las definiciones en el cuerpo de representantes de los vecinos de San Miguel de Tucumán.
El presidente del Concejo Deliberante de San Miguel de Tucumán, Fernando Juri, firmó el decreto para convocar a una sesión extraordinaria el lunes 15 de noviembre -a las 11- para que los concejales elijan a las autoridades de la Mesa Directiva por un año.
El resultado electoral del próximo 14 de noviembre resultará clave para esta definición, ya que si el intendente de la capital, Germán Alfaro, logra obtener los votos (lo cual es casi un hecho) y asume en el Senado, quien lidere el cuerpo deliberante quedará al mando de la Intendencia. Y no son pocas las voces que apuestan a una continuidad de las actuales autoridades, lideradas por Juri, que responde al espacio del oficialismo provincial.
Este hecho seguramente rompería con la armonía que por estas horas atraviesa el Concejo, luego de que la oposición dejara de lado sus pretensiones de obligar a Alfaro a tomar licencia para acogerse a la campaña.
De hecho, no hace mucho, el mismo Juri había disparado contra Alfaro a quien le pidió que “no use la plata de los vecinos para hacer campaña porque él tiene la obligación de velar por los fondos de los capitalinos”.
En todo caso, el resultado de las urnas marcará el rumbo de lo que se decida el lunes. El actual titular del Concejo ya reconoció que le gustaría seguir al frente de la mesa de conducción, pero no descartó que algún otro representante del peronismo pueda ocupar su lugar.
Por su lado, desde el bloque del oficialismo municipal, que no cuenta con los números para imponer la mesa directiva, saben que deberán negociar con el Frente de Todos, o bien, conseguir el apoyo de los dirigentes del bussismo para sentar al presidente del Concejo y posible Intendente en caso de que Alfaro asuma en el Congreso.
Es así que la sesión del lunes también le podría marcar la cancha al propio Alfaro, ya que si pierde la votación para sentar al presidente del cuerpo –su sucesor- deberá debatirse entre ser un candidato testimonial más o dejar el municipio en manos de la oposición.
Desde el Frente de Todos entienden que Alfaro nunca tuvo pensado asumir la banca en la Cámara Alta, por lo cual es casi seguro que intentarán revalidar a Juri. Así lo dejó entrever en reiteradas ocasiones el concejal David Mizrahi (FdT): “Alfaro es testimonial. Las veces que se refirió sobre el tema dejó en claro que no asumiría a la banca y si él no asume no veo necesidad de mayores cambios en la mesa”, resaltó hace poco en contacto con la prensa. No obstante, también aclaró que, en principio, no verían mal que el oficialismo municipal pida un espacio entre las autoridades en caso de que el intendente asuma en el Congreso.
El otro espacio con representación parlamentaria es Fuerza Republicana, quien hoy tiene lugar en la mesa directiva (Carlos Verón Guerra es vicepresidente segundo), y desde donde tienen pretensiones de que esto continúe así.
Sin embargo, los dos bloques opositores manifestaron que la asunción de Alfaro podría cambiar el escenario. Se da por sobreentendido que el oficialismo buscará retener la intendencia, por lo tanto deberá sentar al presidente del Concejo. Sería la primera vez que logre hacerlo con la esta conformación. Todo dependerá de los consensos que se logren tejer entre los diferentes espacios y de la decisión que tome Alfaro luego de los comicios. ¿Asoman vientos de cambio en la capital?
