El gobernador Zamora se repone luego del accidente con su moto
Se encuentra internado en el Hospital Regional, donde se le realizan las curaciones y estudios necesarios antes de decidir el alta médica.
El gobernador de la provincia, Gerardo Zamora, tuvo un accidente de tránsito cuando circulaba en una moto de regreso del cementerio Parque de la Paz, alrededor de las 19 de ayer sábado 20 de junio, según informaron fuentes oficiales.
El primer mandatario provincial se había trasladado allí para visitar la tumba de su madre, María Inés Montanaro de Zamora, al cumplirse once meses de su fallecimiento.
Luego de ello emprendió el regreso a bordo de una motocicleta por la avenida Solís hacia la Belgrano, cuando en la intersección de República del Líbano se produjo el accidente con un auto, cuya conductora resultó ilesa. El gobernador cayó al pavimento arrastrando una de sus piernas y recibió golpes en el pecho, que le ocasionaron la fractura de una de sus costillas. Los vecinos rápidamente lo auxiliaron y fue trasladado al Hospital Regional Ramón Carrillo, donde fue atendido por el equipo de médicos de guardia.
Fuentes del nosocomio informaron que se encontraba fuera de peligro. Destacaron que al ingresar, a simple vista tenía una contusión en una de sus rodillas. Al completarse los estudios de rigor se determinó la fractura en una costilla y una contusión en el tórax.
Las mismas fuentes señalaron que su estado es bueno, pero que estaba muy dolorido por los golpes recibidos.
Hoy los médicos le continuarán realizando los estudios correspondientes para completar el chequeo general.

A poco de conocida la noticia del accidente, el hijo mayor del gobernador, Francisco Zamora, llevó tranquilidad sobre el estado de salud de su padre: “Mi papá se encuentra muy bien. Acabo de estar con él. Muchas gracias”, escribió Francisco en sus redes sociales.
Anoche, funcionarios y familiares se acercaron por el nosocomio para interiorizarse por su salud, mientras que en las redes sociales numerosas personas escribieron mensajes de solidaridad para el mandatario.l
Por la mañana, el Dr. Zamora había presidido el acto por el Día de la Bandera
El gobernador de la Provincia, Dr. Gerardo Zamora, encabezó la ceremonia oficial por el Día de la Bandera nacional y aniversario del paso a la inmortalidad del general Manuel Belgrano que tuvo lugar en la plaza Libertad donde se realizó el izamiento de la enseña patria. El breve acto se concretó bajo estricto protocolo de seguridad por la pandemia del Covid – 19.
Participaron, además, el vicegobernador, Dr. Carlos Silva Neder, el jefe de Gabinete, Elías Suárez, la intendente de la Capital, Ing. Norma Fuentes, el presidente del Superior Tribunal de Justicia, Dr. Federico López Alzogaray, entre otras autoridades provinciales, municipales y del Poder Judicial.
Tras el arribo del primer mandatario provincial y con los sones de la canción “Aurora” interpretado por la banda de música de la Policía de la provincia, se realizó el izamiento de nuestra enseña patria.
