Tras los primeros bocetos en papel, Jorge, apodado “El Tío”, uno de los detenidos que lo pintó, trazó las líneas generales del diseño. “Cuando Argentina perdió el primer partido con Arabia Saudita, dije, medio en broma, que ´si llegábamos a salir campeones, dibujaba a Messi en el patio’. Y acá estoy, porque él es todo para mí”, relató el hombre, en una típica promesa mundialista. “El Tío” tiene una historia de talleres de arte dentro de sus traslados dentro del Servicio Penitenciario. “En la Unidad 4 de Bahía Blanca y en la Unidad 18 de Gorina, hice cursos para aprender.
