El Norte Grande viajará a Estados Unidos
Para mostrar el potencial comercial e institucional.
Los gobernadores mantuvieron una reunión con el embajador de Estados Unidos en Argentina, Marc Stanley, con el fin de definir la agenda que desarrollarán entre el 26 y 30 de septiembre.
Gerardo Morales participó de la reunión que mantuvieron los gobernadores del Norte Grande con el embajador de Estados Unidos en la República Argentina, Marc Stanley, con el fin de definir la agenda que desarrollarán en ese país, en el marco de una misión comercial e institucional que realizarán entre el 26 y 30 de septiembre próximos.
Del encuentro celebrado en la Embajada de Estados Unidos, también participaron el jefe de Gabinete de Ministros, Juan Manzur; y el ministro del Interior de la Nación, Eduardo de Pedro; entre otros.
La misión institucional y comercial abarcará Washington y Nueva York, con el propósito de mostrar el potencial productivo, industrial, turístico y cultural del Norte Grande, con miras a conseguir nuevas inversiones y ampliar exportaciones que se traduzcan en el desarrollo de la región.
Además de la agenda conjunta, se prevé actividades específicas programadas para cada una de las provincias con sectores empresariales.
En este contexto, los gobernadores Gerardo Morales, de Jujuy; Raúl Jalil, Catamarca; Jorge Capitanich, Chaco; Gustavo Valdés, Corrientes; Gildo Insfrán, Formosa; Ricardo Quintela, La Rioja; Oscar Herrera Ahuad, Misiones; Gustavo Sáenz, Salta; Gerardo Zamora, Santiago del Estero; y Osvaldo Jaldo, de Tucumán; mantendrán un encuentro de trabajo en la Embajada de Argentina con los principales Think Tanks de Estados Unidos, a los efectos de exponer el potencial del Norte Grande en la relación bilateral con Estados Unidos, abordando específicamente los rubros energía, seguridad alimentaria, minería y reconversión eléctrica.
Asimismo, se programaron visitas a organismos públicos, privados y multilaterales, contemplando también recorridos por compañías tecnológicas y otros encuentros puntuales entre provincias y empresas vinculadas a la producción de litio y algodón.
Por otra parte, los mandatarios expresaron su agradecimiento al embajador Stanley por “su predisposición y acompañamiento” en esta iniciativa, reconocimiento que hicieron extensivo a los funcionarios nacionales presentes.
