“El problema central que tienen Argentina y Tucumán en la niñez es la malnutrición”
El legislador Federico Masso visitó el barrio Alberdi Norte. Allí dialogó con los vecinos y vecinas sobre la dura realidad que se vive y las necesidades del lugar.
Además realizó donaciones para el merendero comunitario “Corazoncito feliz” y compartió la merienda con los niños y niñas. Estuvo acompañado por la asesora legislativa en problemáticas de género, diversidad y sociales, la Lic. Yanina Muñoz y por la asesora jurídica, Florencia Guerra.
En este contexto el legislador Masso manifestó “Estamos viviendo una situación económica y social muy complicada. Millones de argentinos y tucumanos la están pasando mal. Por eso nos preocupan mucho algunos informes como los de la UNICEF, respecto a la malnutrición. Nosotros a esto lo vemos a diario cuando recorremos la provincia y los diferentes centros comunitarios. Duele ver que en esta Argentina que produce 9 veces alimentos para toda una población, haya hambre y malnutrición”.
En este sentido, el parlamentario añadió “Sabemos también a partir de nuestro Índice Barrial de Salud Nutricional (IBSN) del instituto ISEPCi , que el 26,7 % de los lactantes de los sectores más vulnerables, tienen problemas de malnutrición, es decir que no reciben los nutrientes necesarios en la etapa crítica de su desarollo intelectual. En un futuro esta es la razón por la que miles de niños tienen un mal desempeño en la escuela.»
Para finalizar el legislador de libres del sur expresó «El problema central que tienen Argentina y Tucumán en la niñez es la malnutrición, porque muchos niños y niñas no cuentan con el acceso a una alimentación de calidad. Esto es algo muy alarmante porque impacta en el desarrollo físico y en las capacidades de aprendizaje. Tenemos que exigirle al Estado políticas públicas que estén a la altura de los tiempos que se viven. Es imprescindible asegurar mejores condiciones de alimentación para que estos niños tengan un futuro más próspero».
