Empresarios piden suspender los feriados del 9 y 10 de julio
Cámaras empresarias le pidieron al Gobierno que deje sin efecto el feriado puente del próximo viernes 10 y sábado 11, con el argumento de que la severa crisis provocada por «la pandemia y la cuarentena no admite más descansos».
Este año, el 9 de Julio, celebración del Día de la Independencia, cae en jueves, por lo que fue dispuesto un feriado puente el viernes 10 para formar un fin de semana XXL que, en un contexto de normalidad, hubiera generado un fuerte movimiento turistico en todo el país.
Además, sostienen que en el contexto actual carecen del sentido original de la creación de fines de semana largos, que era el aliento a la industria del turismo.
El pedido fue realizado por la Unión Industrial Argentina (UIA), la Coordinadora de las Industrias de Productos Alimenticios (COPAL) y otras entidades gremiales empresarias mediante una carta dirigida al ministro de Trabajo, Caudio Moroni, informa el portal 0221.com.ar.
«La situación no da para más», le dijeron fuentes de esas organizaciones a este portal. «El objetivo de los fines de semana largos era alentar el turismo, pero en este marco de pandemia y cuarentena perdió sentido porque la actividad tirística está completamente paralizada», explicaron.
