Entregan equipos para la terapia intensiva del hospital de Concepción

La ministra de Salud, Rossana Chahla, acompañada por el secretario ejecutivo médico del Siprosa, Luis Medina Ruiz, y por el secretario de estado del Ministerio, Alfredo Bunader, hizo entrega de nueva aparatología e insumos necesarios para la unidad especial para pacientes con COVID-19.

Seguimos recorriendo la provincia, escuchando todas las necesidades. Si bien tenemos una comunicación permanente con todas las áreas y hospitales, es muy importante ver en terreno qué es lo que pasa. Por eso, ahora estamos equipando la segunda terapia del efector con ocho monitores multiparamétricos, ocho bombas de infusión, dos respiradores, oxímetros, cardiodesfibrilador, y otros insumos”, dijo al respecto la titular de la cartera sanitaria.

“El recurso humano del hospital está capacitado y tiene las herramientas para trabajar. Debemos atender a los pacientes de nuestra localidad, y poder servir a la gente cómo nos venimos preparando desde hace bastante tiempo. Para mí siempre es un gusto poder venir al sur y visitar el hospital de Concepción pero sobre todo reunirme con su gente, escucharlos”, manifestó Chahla.

Por su parte, Medina Ruiz explicó que también se hizo entrega de elementos de protección para el personal, tales como barbijos y camisolines. Pero además, se continúa motivando desde el Siprosa a los profesionales para que continúen con los simulacros de emergencia, con la capacitación, porque eso es fundamental para estar preparados.

En tanto, el director del hospital de Concepción, Rodolfo Cecanti, comentó que con esta aparatología se completan los diez respiradores para la terapia intensiva y así está puesta a punto para responder a la comunidad. “Tenemos nueve casos confirmados de COVID-19, de acuerdo al informe oficial. Hasta el momento, nosotros estábamos internando a los casos sospechosos con sintomatología moderada-severa que no podían ser trasladados a la capital; quedaban en nuestra terapia hasta que se confirmaba o no el hisopado”.

Ahora, dijo, “comenzaremos a pleno con los casos positivos de la zona para estar al lado de la gente, evitar el desarraigo y tratar de dar un servicio nuevo a la comunidad”.

Respecto a cómo se acondicionó la institución en plena pandemia, explicó que aparte del consultorio febril de adultos cuentan con uno pediátrico y para embarazadas, debido a que son un hospital polivalente.

“Así también, tenemos una internación abreviada para casos sospechosos de niños con seis camas y una sala de aislamiento para paciente positivo de adultos con 15 camas. El personal fue re-diagramado, y se vienen realizando también capacitaciones desde hace 120 días. Incluso internamos algunos pacientes sospechosos a modo de simulacro”, destacó.

Finalmente, la referente del equipo de Bioseguridad en Concepción, Adriana Bueno, agregó: “Desde febrero, antes de que incluso existiera el primer caso confirmado de coronavirus en Argentina, este hospital ya había creado el comité de crisis y habíamos presentando toda la refuncionalización, ofreciéndonos para el tratamiento de esta nueva enfermedad”.

En este sentido, indicó que “para vencer el miedo y el temor, debemos tener la capacitación, el conocimiento y los elementos, si esas tres cosas se dan estamos a punto para poder asistir a los pacientes; salvarles la vida, no enfermarnos, ni lamentar ninguna víctima fatal. Ese es el objetivo”.

Cuál fue el equipamiento entregado

El hospital tiene dos terapias intensivas (1 y 2). Ya se habían anticipado algunos equipamientos pero con lo que se entregó hoy quedaron las ocho camas totalmente dotadas para poder asistir a los pacientes más críticos. Entregaron: Ocho monitores multiparamétricos de alta gama con transductores de presión invasiva; ocho bombas volumétricas que son absolutamente de alta tecnología; dos respiradores neumovent para pacientes adultos; un cardiodesfibrilador de última generación que permite hacer toda la recuperación en caso de paro y también funciona como DEA.
