Fernandez viaja a Salta para celebrar el Bicentenario de Güemes

Télam 17/’06/2020 Sata: Los salteños rindieron anoche un sentido homenaje al general Martín Miguel de Güemes, héroe máximo de Salta y factor clave en la gesta independentista, con una Guardia Bajo las Estrellas diferente, sin las miles de personas que cada año copan la zona del monumento al héroe gaucho, en el marco del distanciamiento social por la pandemia del COVID-19. Con la Guardia bajo las Estrellas, este miércoles a noche a partir de las 23.15, en el monumento a Güemes, se inician los homenajes centrales por el año del bicentenario del paso a la inmortalidad del héroe nacional, el general Martín Miguel de Güemes.
También se confirmó que a la medianoche sonarán la sirena de El Tribuno y las campanas del Cabildo de Salta, anunciando el 200 aniversario.
Del acto oficial, que abrirá la tradicional vigilia, participará el presidente de la Nación, Alberto Fernández, que será recibido por el gobernador Gustavo Sáenz y la intendenta de la ciudad, Bettina Romero.Fernández arribará a Salta esta tarde acompañado de su comitiva integrada por los ministros de Salud e Interior, Carla Vizzotti, y Eduardo «Wado» De Pedro, entre otros funcionarios. Se prevé que el Presidente anuncie en Salta la nominación de un billete que llevará la imagen de Güemes y su gesta.
Alberto Barros, director general de la Comisión del Bicentenario, detalló que por la noche en el monumento se realizará un cuadro artístico sobre la muerte del héroe a cargo del ballet folclórico Martín Miguel de Güemes, luego se proyectará un video mapping sobre la figura del general. Posteriormente se entonarán los himnos patrios, habrá un minuto de silencio y para finalizar el acto se repetirá el mapping.

«La Guardia bajo las Estrellas es una actividad que se inició en el monolito de la Quebrada de la Horqueta, después pasó al monumento. Simboliza la guardia que hicieron gauchos y efectivos en las últimas horas del general, que muere el 17 por tarde», resumió Barros.
La vigilia está a cargo del Ejército Argentino, Gendarmería Nacional y la Agrupación Tradicionalista Gauchos de Güemes. Estos se dividen la guardia en grupos de ocho personas que irán rotando cada media hora hasta las 6 de la mañana. Los participantes serían agrupados en burbujas para respetar los protocolos sanitarios por la pandemia de coronavirus.
El jueves, en tanto, a las 8.30, se realizará una ceremonia en el Panteón de las Glorias del Norte, ubicado en la Catedral Basílica, donde asistirán las autoridades locales y nacionales, y los titulares de los poderes de la Provincia. Habrá un responso a cargo del arzobispo Mario Cargnello, colocación de ofrendas florales y el descubrimiento de una placa. Luego, a las 9.15, la cápsula se trasladará a la explanada del monumento a Güemes para el acto central sin público que estiman finalizar a las 11. Vale recordar que este año no habrá desfile por la pandemia.
«Para mí es un honor inmerecido, ha sido un desafío en el contexto que vivimos. Al principio teníamos pensado un desfile a toda orquesta, con Granaderos, Patricios, gente de Chile, de Bolivia, pero nos tocó esto, ha sido una crisis, pero estén seguros de que lo que estamos haciendo es lo mejor que se puede en un marco de pandemia», destacó Alberto Barros.
Por su parte, el ministro de Seguridad, Juan Manuel Pulleiro, señaló: «Los actos se van a transmitir en simultáneo en canales de televisión y radios, le pedimos a la gente que no concurra, los eventos del 16 y 17 son sin público».
El Pretal de Plata del general Güemes fue recibido por el gobernador Gustavo Sáenz en Casa de Gobierno. El preciado accesorio del atalaje de la montura del héroe gaucho nacional es exhibido por primera vez, y durante varias horas, en el Centro Cívico Grand Bourg, como parte de las actividades por el Bicentenario del fallecimiento del general salteño que se conmemora mañana.

También la intendenta, Bettina Romero, tuvo el honor de recibir el Pretal el lunes último en la sede municipal. “Con la presencia del Pretal rendimos homenaje a nuestro General. Hoy más que nunca necesitamos que estén presentes los valores que Güemes nos enseñó. Nos animemos a soñar con una Nación más grande. Güemes es un orgullo para los argentinos y sobre todo para nosotros, los norteños”, manifestó Romero.
