Lo puso en el horno y nació un pato

El ave nació en esa incubadora casera y ahora forma parte de una familia, que en el futuro tiene pensando llevarlo a un estanque o un refugio. 

«El patito nos sigue por todas partes. Es una cosa tan dulce que Alice está encantada. A ella le encanta abrazarlo».

Una historia que emocionó a la ciudad de Winchester, en el condado británico de Hampshire.

El profesor de inglés Will Hall, de 26 años, descubrió cerca de su casa un huevo tirado en el suelo, el cual en un principio creyó que se había caído de un árbol.

Pero, tras una búsqueda por la zona, no encontró el nido y decidió llevarlo a su vivienda, donde se lo mostró a su pareja, Alice Kendall (22).

La pareja consultó luego al padre de Alice, un ex avicultor. «Él nos dijo que lo mantengamos caliente a 32 grados centígrados», contó Will al Daily Mail.

Enseguida la pareja improvisó una incubadora en el horno, para lo cual precalentaron una bandeja con un repasador a modo de cunita.

«Nuestro horno enciende a 50 grados, así que tuvimos que seguir prendiéndolo y apagándolo con la puerta abierta para asegurarnos de que estuviera en alrededor de 30», relató Will.

Luego de dos horas, ante las miradas constantes y el miedo de llegar a quemar el huevo, la cáscara empezó a romperse y del interior surgió un patito.

Mientras crece y se pone fuerte, Alice y Will adoptaron al pequeño como mascota. En el futuro tienen la intención de llevarlo a un estanque o un refugio de animales
