Alberto Fernández anunciará que la Argentina producirá la vacuna contra el coronavirus que está desarrollando la Universidad de Oxford y el laboratorio AstraZeneca.
El Ministro de la Salud Ginés González García había adelantado, durante un acto en La Matanza, que hoy “se esperaban muy buenas noticias”.
El Presidente de la Nación comunicará esta noticia esta tarde desde la Residencia de Olivos. Sería entre las 17 y las 17.30 horas. Se trata de un acuerdo con transferencia tecnológica para fabricar la cura . Se establece también que tendrá disponibilidad pronta y precio accesible.
Esta semana comenzaron en el país las primera pruebas de la vacuna que elabora Pfizer y BioTech. Los testeos se empezaron a realizar en el Hospital Militar. Según el director de la institución, se anotaron más de 25 mil personas, pero solo podrán participar de 4.500 voluntarios.
En la Argentina, se han registrado un total de 260.911 positivos de coronavirus y más de 5.000 fallecidos a causa de la enfermedad. Se espera que esta semana Alberto Fernández se reúna nuevamente con el comité de expertos y con el Gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires y el jefe de Gobierno porteño para determinar cómo continuar luego del 16 de agosto. Se prevé que el anuncio sea este viernes por la tarde.
Asimismo, el mandatario se reunió con Horacio Rodríguez Larreta para analizar la situación de la Ciudad de la Buenos Aires
