En la oportunidad, la parlamentaria brindó la Conferencia: «Boleta Única y Transparencia Electoral», donde aportó mayores precisiones sobre la iniciativa sancionada por la Cámara de Diputados que establece la Boleta Única de Papel como instrumento de votación para todos los procesos electorales nacionales. «Es importante que después del debate que dimos en el Congreso respecto a la implementación de este sistema, podamos replicarlo en las distintas provincias», destacó.
En ese sentido, Martínez consideró que «es necesario que el proyecto sea aprobado en la Cámara de Senadores antes de fin de año para que se pueda implementar en las próximas elecciones». Y añadió: «tenemos casos exitosos en provincias como Córdoba, Santa Fe, Salta con la boleta única electrónica, entre otras, que dan cuenta de la necesidad de ampliar este sistema a todo el pais para mejorar la calidad de la representación sobre todo, sumar en transparencia y hacerle más accesible al ciudadano el ejercicio de su derecho a elegir a sus representantes».
Por su parte, el legislador Raúl Albarracín destacó iniciativas impulsadas desde el Bloque PJS para la reforma del sistema electoral como la implementación de las PASO provinciales y el sistema de Boleta Única en Tucumán.
«Sabemos que en nuestra provincia hay cierta resistencia a los cambios que proponemos, por eso es fundamental sociabilizar este tema y generar conciencia ciudadana en torno a la importancia de avanzar en la modernización de nuestro sistema electoral, para recuperar la confianza de la sociedad en la política, dotar de transparencia y mejorar la calidad institucional de nuestro sistema político», concluyó Albarracín.
