Cuando se le consulto sobre las actividades autorizadas por el nuevo decreto nacional y las dudas sobre el desarrollo de las actividades locales, respondió «Están autorizadas todas las empresas que estén relacionadas con la producción agropecuaria. Y en este sentido están incluidas del sector agroindustrial, deberían quedarse tranquilos»
En cuanto a la circulación del persona, agregó «Los empleados deberían sacar un permiso, en la aplicación cuidar, deben poner sus datos y circular con ese permiso. Y con ello deberían dejarlos ingresar a los ingenios y circular interjurisdiccionalmente

«Pero el sector exportador se ve afectado porque hay un cambio en las reglas de juego. Pero la decisión que tomo es coyuntural y de emergencia que dura 30 días. No debería afectar al sector, bajar los precios y permitir que la gente acceda a la carne» finalizó.
