Seis meses de prisión preventiva para dos hombres acusados de un homicidio en Simoca. Una pelea entre familias por un terreno terminó con la muerte de un joven de 20 años.
El Ministerio Publico Fiscal informó que, en la jornada de hoy, domingo 11 de octubre, se realizó una audiencia para formalizar una apertura de investigaciones y formular cargos contra Sergio Eduardo Cuello por el homicidio agravado por el uso de arma de fuego contra Facundo Gabriel Serrano y homicidio en grado de tentativa respecto a Juan Pedro Serrano. Mientras que a Juan Domingo Cuello, se lo imputó por los mismos cargos en calidad de partícipe necesario.
En el acto procesal, llevado a cabo de manera virtual, comparecieron ambos sospechosos, acompañados por su abogado Marcelo Romero. La fiscal Targa, estuvo secundada por la auxiliar, María Belén Pan. “Estamos en presencia de un homicidio y de un homicidio en grado de tentativa. Sergio y Juan Domingo Cuello son autor y partícipe del hecho.
Existen, por lo tanto, elementos suficientes que pueden entorpecer la investigación y el peligro de fuga, dada las características del hecho y las penas que se esperan. Se atentó contra la vida de una persona y se lesionó a otra”, expresó Targa durante la audiencia.Para finalizar, el juez dispuso, que los aprehendidos permanezcan alojados en la Unidad Penitenciaria Número 3.
El caso
El hecho ocurrió en la zona de los parajes La Junta y Los Agudos donde miembros de la familia Cuello se encontraban en el lugar cavando pozos con la intención de alambrar, circunstancia en la que presentaron los integrantes de la familia Serrano (tío y sobrino) a reclamarles por la ocupación del terreno. En medio de la disputa, Sergio Eduardo Cuello comenzó a hacer disparos, mientras que su tío utilizaba un machete.
Facundo Gabriel Serrano recibió un disparo en el pecho que le causó la muerte, mientras que su tío Juan Pedro de 24 años recibió el impacto en el rostro. Inmediatamente después de lo ocurrido, personal policial desplegó un operativo en la zona para aprehender al autor material del disparo, de 33 años, y a su tío Juan Domingo Cuello.
Entre los elementos secuestrados se incautó un arma calibre 22 largo marca Doberman.
