La primera planta cloacal de Concepción se construirá en 24 meses
El desarrollo de infraestructura de servicios sanitarios es clave para asegurar la sustentabilidad de las ciudades.
Es por ello que el gobernador, Juan Manzur, firmó un convenio para el inicio de obras para la primera planta de tratamientos de líquidos cloacales de Concepción y tareas en su red de agua potable.
El acuerdo fue firmado con el subsecretario del plan Norte Grande, Marcelo Caponio; el gerente de la Sociedad Aguas del Tucumán, Augusto Guraiib; Franco Morelli, titular de la Unidad Ejecutora Provincial y el intendente, Roberto Sánchez.
Manzur señaló: “firmamos con la empresa para que comience las obras por un monto de $1400 millones que va a llevar soluciones a la totalidad del pueblo de Concepción”.
Caponio contó que la falta de pago del adelanto por parte del Gobierno nacional anterior retrasó el inicio de la obra. Y resaltó el trabajo del presidente Alberto Fernández y su gabinete que “pagó el anticipo para que inician formalmente los trabajos en Concepción que va a beneficiar a más de 70.000 personas”
Morelli aseguró que el pago del anticipo de US$900.000 posibilitó el desarrollo del proyecto: “El gobierno de Mauricio Macri creía que esta obra era un gasto para el Estado cuando la realidad es que es una inversión en salud de la población y en el medioambiente”.
Tras la reunión, Guraiib dijo ante la prensa: “es una muy buena noticia en virtud de que el saneamiento da un paso más en la provincia de Tucumán. Esto significa que Concepción tratará sus líquidos cloacales. Si bien hoy tenemos una medida mitigadora de afluentes con humedal, esto dará una solución definitiva en uno de los núcleos poblacionales más importantes de Tucumán”.
Implicancias de la obra
La planta cloacal está proyectada para dar servicio a 100 mil habitantes. El plazo de ejecución de obra son 24 meses y comenzará a correr desde hoy.
Sánchez sostuvo: “firmamos un convenio con la Provincia y la empresa que fue adjudicataria para la realización de la planta de tratamiento de líquidos cloacales en Concepción. Una obra muy importante para la región porque se trata de un tema ambiental”.
Después que se termine esta obra, señaló, esos líquidos tratados van a purificar la cuenca hídrica tucumana. “Esta infraestructura va a generar puestos de trabajo. Algo que tanta falta le hace a la ciudad y a la provincia. Posteriormente, generará puestos de trabajo a la gente que la mantendrá en servicio y que serán empleados de la SAT”, dijo.
El Intendente también señaló que “es fundamental el saneamiento ambiental. Cuidar nuestro planeta como lo manda el Papa Francisco es cuidar la madre tierra”.
