Ante los nuevos casos de coronavirus en ese municipio, la iglesia decidió suspender las misas presenciales.
Mediante un comunicado se dieron a conocer las nuevas medidas. Las celebraciones seguirán solamente de forma virtual.
Comunicado oficial:
A los sacerdotes, diáconos y pueblo de Dios en general:
Debido a la gravedad de la situación sanitaria por la que atravesamos hemos tomado la decisión de cerrar los templos, suspender las reuniones presenciales previstas, Fiestas Patronales, procesiones, caravanas, etc.
Las celebraciones seguirán solamente bajo la modalidad virtual. Recomendamos a las familias retomar la propuesta de celebración doméstica “La Iglesia en casa” que semana a semana se publica.
También la sede del Obispado permanecerá cerrada. Toda la atención será virtual.
En todo esforcémonos por cuidarnos y cuidar a nuestro prójimo siguiendo con humildad y caridad las normas de distanciamiento social y sanitización previstas por nuestras autoridades.
No nos olvidemos de rezar por todos los enfermos afectados, por sus familias y por todas las personas que están redoblando sus esfuerzos por cuidar de la salud y la seguridad de nuestra gente.
