Llegó a Moscú un nuevo vuelo de Aerolíneas Argentinas
Para traer vacunas Sputnik V.
El avión de Aerolíneas Argentinas despegó desde Ezeiza a la 1:58 con destino a la capital de la Federación Rusa en busca un nuevo lote de vacunas Suptnik V para intensificar la campaña nacional de vacunación. El vuelo de Aerolíneas Argentinas que partió la madrugada de este sábado en busca de más dosis de la vacuna Sputnik V, arribó a Moscú y está previsto que regrese con un nuevo cargamento el domingo alrededor de las 19.
La partida había sido confirmada el viernes, tanto por el presidente de la Nación, Alberto Fernández, como por el titular de la línea de bandera, Pablo Ceriani.
Se estima que la aeronave permanecerá hasta aproximadamente las 4.30 horario de Moscú en la capital rusa y su arribo al Aeropuerto Internacional de Ezeiza se prevé para las 19 del domingo.
El vuelo es operado por el Airbus 330 con matrícula LV-GIF, que fue modificado para funcionar como carguero, y en el avión viajan, como en vuelos anteriores, 20 personas, de las cuales 10 son comandantes y copilotos, mientras que el resto corresponde a personal técnico, de mantenimiento y tripulantes de cabina.
Como en los vuelos anteriores, las vacunas producidas por el instituto Gamaleya serán trasladadas en contenedores del tipo «thermobox» a una temperatura de 18 grados bajo cero y con carga adicional de refrigeración.
«Vamos a recibir también vacunas de Covax en los próximos días. Y estamos trabajando para conseguir más vacunas. Y vamos a seguir teniendo buena frecuencia de vacunas que nos permita seguir con este proceso vacunatorio que en tierra bonaerense he visto muy bien cómo funciona», dijo el Presidente.
El mandatario realizó el anuncio el viernes al participar por videoconferencia de un acto que se desarrolló en un centro de vacunación en la localidad bonaerense de Pilar, en el que se celebró que hayan sido vacunados tres millones de bonaerenses.
«Cada operación es una nueva oportunidad de hacer nuestro aporte a la gran cadena logística que implica mover millones de vacunas que a su vez se traducen en más personas protegidas. Estamos orgullosos de poder trabajar con ese objetivo», señaló Ceriani en relación al nuevo servicio en pos de vacunas.
«Estamos trabajando para conseguir más vacunas. Y vamos a seguir teniendo buena frecuencia que nos permita seguir con este proceso vacunatorio»

La llegada de un nuevo cargamento de vacunas Sputnik V se sumará así a las 861.000 de AstraZeneca que cerca del 21 de este mes llegarán a la Argentina a través del mecanismo internacional Covax (el fondo global de acceso a las vacunas contra el coronavirus que impulsa a Organización Mundial de la Salud, OMS), cuyo arribo fue anunciado por la ministra de Salud, Carla Vizzotti.
En este sentido, la funcionaria anticipó que a partir del 19 de mayo estarán liberadas 861.000 vacunas AstraZeneca para la Argentina -llegarían al país el 21 de mayo- y sostuvo que se utilizarán como segunda dosis tanto para quienes recibieron esa misma vacuna en la primera aplicación como también para quienes fueron inmunizados inicialmente con la Covishield (versión desarrollada en India de la misma vacuna).
Es que, a raíz de la crisis sanitaria que atraviesa India en el marco de la pandemia de coronavirus, quedó suspendido el envío del segundo cargamento comprometido de esas vacunas, producidas por el Serum Institute de India.
Hasta el momento, llegaron 9.642.490 de vacunas en 18 vuelos completados por Aerolíneas, 13 desde Moscú con 6.033.290 dosis de Sputnik V y 5 desde Beijing con 3.659.200 dosis de Sinopharm, sobre un total de 11.698.145 dosis que ingresaron al país en 22 vuelos.
En tanto, la distribución de una partida de 786.000 dosis de vacunas Sinopharm en todas las provincias se completó el jueves, con el objetivo de dar continuidad al plan de vacunación que el Gobierno lleva adelante en todo el país para combatir la Covid-19, según informaron fuentes del Ministerio de Salud.
Estas vacunas forman parte de las 2 millones que arribaron al país en las últimas semanas para completar el esquema de vacunación a aquellas personas que ya recibieron la primera dosis.
De acuerdo al criterio de distribución dispuesto por la cartera nacional, en base a la cantidad de población de cada distrito, la provincia de Buenos Aires recibe 286.200 dosis; la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires 43.200; Catamarca 8.100; Chaco 23.400; Chubut 11.700; Córdoba 62.100; Corrientes 21.600; Entre Ríos 30.600; Formosa 12.600; Jujuy 13.500: La Pampa 9.000; La Rioja 9.000; Mendoza 29.700; Misiones 25.200; Neuquén 19.800; Río Negro 18.000; Salta 22.500; San Juan 13.500; San Luis 11.700; Santa Cruz 7.200; Santa Fe 60.300; Santiago del Estero 18.900; Tierra del Fuego 3.600 y Tucumán 25.200.
Según el Monitor Público de Vacunación, el registro online que muestra en tiempo real el operativo de inmunización en todo el territorio, hasta el viernes habían sido aplicadas8.951.821 vacunas:7.640.728personas recibieron la primera dosis y1.311.093 ambas.
Por su parte, la ministra de Salud, Carla Vizzotti, aseveró que «todas las personas van a completar su esquema de vacunación» contra el coronavirus, que contempla la aplicación de dos dosis, y anunció que, a partir del 19 de mayo, estarán liberadas 861.000 vacunas Astrazeneca para la Argentina a través del mecanismo Covax, que llegarían al país el 21.
Asimismo, sostuvo que el «aumento exponencial» de contagios de coronavirus «se ha detenido» y «estabilizado», pero subrayó que es necesario «seguir trabajando» para que los casos sigan bajando.
«Todas las personas van a completar su esquema de vacunación.»

El mecanismo internacional Covax trajo al país poco más de 1 millón de dosis entre marzo y abril, por lo que las que se recibirán en mayo permitirán completar el esquema de quienes ya han recibido la primera inoculación.
En ese sentido, la ministra aclaró que, así como está sucediendo con quienes recibieron las vacunas chinas Sinopharm, tanto con los vacunados con AstraZeneca como con las rusas Sputnik V, «todas las personas van a completar su esquema de vacunación».
Por ello, aclaró que se trabaja con el instituto ruso Gamaleya para acordar los plazos de llegada de los segundos componentes de su vacuna.
