Mario Veliz: «Estamos trabajando en la creación del Consejo Municipal de Turismo»
El director de Promoción Turística Municipal, Mario Veliz, visitó el programa Café Prensa transmitido por Mi Radio FM 92.7 mhz y Radios Tucumán FM 88.1 mhz. Charlamos sobre el estado actual del turismo en la provincia.
«La verdad es que hemos visto que hubo un crecimiento. El Pre Viaje fue una herramienta importante, que generó un movimiento interno. Hemos trabajado entre las capitales del norte para poner en valor nuestra cultura, gastronomía, historia”, expresó respecto a la situación actual del turismo.
» Ya hemos realizado en Santiago del Estero con todos los referentes de las capitales del norte una reunión para coordinar eso. Estoy a cargo de la gastronomía donde ponemos en valor una comida típica, y en Tucumán el 22 de julio presentaremos la ruta del sándwich de milanesa. Trabajaremos en una ordenanza para se destaque como comida regional. Queremos que todo el sector privado trabaje mancomunadamente, este evento será la presentación de SMT en otras provincias y en Buenos Aires presentaremos a la Ciudad como destino turístico”, adelantó el funcionario sobre este proyecto.
Respecto a la reglamentación de las mesas en la vía público, manifestó que «el intendente Alfaro se puso al frente en esta cuestión tan difícil durante la pandemia. Habrá una reacomodación, no volverá a atrás en el tema de las mesas en las plazas, veredas o calles. Con esto se busca es unificar criterios para reglamentar y dar la posibilidad, en base a las características de la ciudad. El trabajo que se viene haciendo desde la Comisión de Turismo, donde trabaja Agustín Romano Norri, es muy importante, quien ya se ha reunido con las diferentes cámaras. En este sentido quiero adelantarles otra primicia, ya que estamos trabajando en la creación del Consejo Municipal de Turismo, es algo inédito en el Norte Argentino y consideramos una necesidad. Porque notamos que los sectores vienen trabajando cada uno por su lado (sector privado y público), si no nos vemos como una alianza estratégica vamos a fracasar tanto en la gestión pública como privada».
Cuando se le pregunto si podrían llegar a trabajar con el Ente de Turismo, sentenció que “las uniones laborales de gestión por el bien común son fundamentales. Lamentablemente no venimos trabajando como se debe y es un reclamo del sector privado. Y por eso en esta creación del Consejo Municipal de Turismo trabajaremos fuertemente con las instituciones educativas, el Concejo Deliberante, las cámaras. Y probablemente, empezaremos con la primera reunión la semana que viene donde prepararemos proyectos donde tendrá que escuchar y participar el Ente de Turismo.»
Respecto a cómo veía la gestión del Ente de Turismo, el funcionario respondió que «hay cosas que se trabajaron bien, no se puede desconocer lo bueno. Pero no se puede dejar de lado a la capital tucumana, porque es el eje del turismo, donde debemos dar soluciones mancomunadamente a ciertas cuestiones. Por ejemplo, el tema de la SAT. Juntamos firmas para saber el presupuesto y las obras a realizar.»
