Más de 100 combis prestarán el servicio de transporte
Si UTA realiza un paro de ómnibus
Si el conflicto entre empresarios y choferes de ómnibus, que ya sumó varios capítulos este año, vuelve a derivar en un paro, la Municipalidad de San Miguel de Tucumán pondrá en marcha un servicio de transporte de pasajeros de emergencia que será prestado por más de un centenar de minibuses y combis.
El secretario de Gobierno de la comuna capitalina Rodolfo Ocaranza anunció que con la instalación de de las máquinas lectoras de tarjetas magnéticas, se esta dando ya el último paso para poner en operación el sistema de contingencia, que contará con una docena de recorridos ya establecidos.
El funcionario aclaró que la decisión del intendente Germán Alfaro está respaldada por la ordenanza 5.011, que declara al transporte público como un servicio escencial, obligando a las empresas a disponer de un mecanismo d contingencia que garantice una prestación mínima en caso de paro.
Como las empresas nunca cumplieron con esa imposición, el municipio acudió al registro de vehículos particulares de menor porte, que entrarán en servicio cada vez que el gremio de UTA decrte un paro o cuando los concesionarios de AETAT dispongan un lock out patronal.
Ocaranza aclaró que como el sistema de transporte de contingencia no cuenta con los subsidios que otorgan la Nación y la Provincia al servicio regular, el viaje en las combis tendrá un costo superior al del boleto común, pero que de todas maneras será muy inferior a lo que cuesta viajar en taxi.
En breve la Municipalidad de la capital dará a conocer los recorridos que cubrirán las más de cien unidades de transporte de emergencia, que no tendrán paradas definidas, sino puntos de encuentro en los que se producirá el ascenso y descenso de pasajeros. Se aclaró que las combis no ingresarán al microcentro.
Al mismo tiempo Ocaranza anticipó la puesta en marcha de un sistema de transporte diferencial, que convivirá con el servicio actual y surgirá de un proyecto de ordenanza que está en estudio, para ser puesto a consideración del Concejo Deliberante de San Miguel de Tucumán.
