Más de 500 camiones están varados en La Quiaca
Por un bloqueo en el paso fronterizo con Bolivia.
Desde hace 10 días, pobladores de la ciudad boliviana de Villazón mantienen un reclamo que impide el cruce del puente internacional Horacio Guzmán.
Unos 500 camiones se encuentran parados en la ciudad jujeña de La Quiaca sin poder cruzar el puente internacional Horacio Guzmán hacia Bolivia, debido a un reclamo que desde hace diez días mantienen los pobladores de la ciudad boliviana de Villazón.
Según voceros de los transportistas, la medida que desde el lunes se determinó por tiempo indefinido impide que los vehículos puedan llegar al país vecino con elementos de primera necesidad, como alimentos y combustible, entre otros insumos, en principio debido a la postura intransigente de los manifestantes.
”Hay camiones con remedios, oxígeno, verduras, cereales, harina y lo peor de todo es que estamos sentado sobre una bomba de tiempo”, explicó a Télam Sergio Lucero, uno de los voceros de los transportistas. Además, el camionero apuntó que “hay más de cien vehículos de carga de combustibles que estamos juntos acá, con el peligro de que es un combustible volátil”.
Por los días que llevan parados, ya se formaron largas filas de camiones argentinos y bolivianos que ocupan sectores de la avenida Circunvalación y su playa de estacionamiento en La Quiaca.
Este reclamo se inició porque el Comité Cívico de Villazón (en Bolivia) demanda al gobierno del presidente boliviano, Luis Arce, una mayor asignación de recursos humanos en salud debido a la pandemia del coronavirus, y porque no se realizaron las gestiones con el gobierno argentino para la reapertura de la frontera.
Al respecto, Lucero, el chofer procedente de Río Cuarto, Córdoba, comentó que juntos a otros transportistas cocinan durante el día “con lo que podemos juntar” y que antes de cruzar hacia Bolivia deben pensar que “tendrán que volver a hisoparse con el costo que eso demanda”.
Por otro lado, los choferes se quejaron por las condiciones sanitarias que viven, ya que cuentan con “un solo baño químico que no se desagota y una sola ducha”, ante lo cual “el intendente (Blas Gallardo) se llenó la boca de que iba a traer ayuda y nunca trajo nada”. ”La situación del país está complicada y está para todos, pero aquí estamos siendo rehenes de Bolivia”, aseguró Lucero.
Por su parte, un transportista de Rosario de la Frontera, de Salta, Fernando Vitian, comentó que se encuentra parado “desde hace 11 días con un embarque de trigo” y que son 15 camiones con esa carga “que no podemos cruzar con hacia Villazón”. Agregó que hay “más de 500 camiones en La Quiaca y hay otros 400 más camino a la ciudad de Güemes”.
Frente a la falta de respuestas por la situación que les toca atravesar, Vitian dijo “nos sentimos abandonados por todas las partes, por el gremio y el gobierno”.
El paso fronterizo, solo habilitado para el transporte de carga internacional a causa de la pandemia de coronavirus, está ubicado en La Quiaca, a 290 kilómetros de la capital provincial, en plena Puna jujeña.
En diálogo con TN, el intendente de La Quiaca, Blas Gallardo, afirmó: “Los camiones siguen llegando, se anotician y se que van quedando en diferentes lugares de la provincia, Hay diálogo con diferentes funcionarios de Bolivia y espero que se pueda resolver en las próximas horas”.
“Es difícil para nosotros sostener 300, 500 camiones, no tenemos la capacidad. Estamos en la tercera oleada en La Quiaca. 10 casos diarios para nosotros es altísimo”, afirmó.
