El diputado libertario, que también volvió a destacar la figura de Margaret Thatcher, admitió que bajó en las encuestas que miden la intención de voto: “Prefiero una verdad incómoda antes que una mentira confortable”, señaló.
Javier Milei volvió a defender hoy su postura a favor de la venta de órganos. “Hay 7500 personas que la pasan mal y que pueden llegar a morir por la ineficiencia de no reconocer que un problema de mercado”, señaló el diputado libertario que, ayer y con dos charlas en las ciudades de Barranquilla y Medellín, cerró una gira que lo llevó a Colombia, desde donde volvió a quedar en el centro de la polémica también al destacar la figura de Margaret Thatcher, la primera ministra británica durante la Guerra de Malvinas.
“No me molesta si la gente no le gusta tal o cual posición; yo te voy a decir mi verdad, más fácil es contestar como el resto de los políticos, con focus group”, sostuvo el economista. En esta línea, negó que haya “metido la pata” y reconoció que bajó en las encuestas que miden la intención de voto y la imagen de los dirigentes políticos: “Sí, pero no me preocupa, prefiero decir una verdad incómoda antes que una mentira confortable”, sostuvo.
Sobre su posición a favor de la venta de órganos, argumentó: “¿Cuánta gente muere en la Argentina por año? 375.000 personas por año; ¿cuántos órganos toma INCUCAI? 269; ¿cuántas personas necesitan un órgano? 7500. De tener 375.000 potenciales donantes a llegar a 269, hay una deficiencia enorme”.
“Hay un problema con lo que llega; el INCUCAI maneja un brutal exceso de demanda. Que no haya un precio explícito no quiere decir que no haya un costo de oportunidad de estos errores, que es que haya 7500 personas que la pasan mal y que pueden llegar a morir por la ineficiencia de no reconocer que es un problema de mercado”, agregó.
A su vez, completó: “Si tuvieras un mercado de órganos, cuando te morís se resolvería más eficientemente, con este mecanismo (actual) no accede ninguno, y si hay más tenés una mejora de bienestar”.
Más allá de esta postura, que le valió numerosas críticas, lo mismo que su defensa de la libre portación de armas, en otro pasaje del reportaje habló de su afinidad hacia Thatcher y afirmó que “hay algunas cuestiones para reconocerle”, como “bajar la inflación, que estaba en torno del 20% cuando ella llegó” y recordó que “tuvo un paro general de 11 días, no claudicó en sus posiciones y logró hacer los cambios que había que hacer”.
“Cuando tuvo que ir a pelear una guerra, decidió hacerla y la ganó, el problema es que del otro lado estábamos nosotros. Ahora, ¿a quién preferís tener de tu lado, a Thatcher o a (Leopoldo Fortunato) Galtieri? Esa es la realidad”, añadió el diputado.
El libertario bajó en las encuestas después formar parte de un fenómeno electoralMilei viajó a Colombia a hacer campaña contra el candidato de izquierda Gustavo Petro, que finalmente se impuso en las elecciones de ese país. En una entrevista concedida a una reconocida revista se mostró identificado, además de con Thatcher, con Winston Churchill y con el expresidente estadounidense Ronald Reagan, algo que fue rechazado por un dirigente cercano a él como Carlos Maslatón, quien viene cuestionando al entorno del economista en los últimos días. “¿CON THATCHER? Perdón Javier. Hasta acá llegué. Las Malvinas son argentinas”, respondió en su cuenta de Twitter.
“Lo que estoy haciendo en Colombia, básicamente, es venir y explicarles los riesgos que conlleva abrazar las ideas del socialismo del siglo XXI. Justamente, Petro representa eso, esas ideas que están sembrando la pobreza, el horror y la miseria en América Latina”, sostuvo ayer Milei en una de sus disertaciones.
Y tras criticar a Néstor y Cristina Kirchner y a Alberto Fernández, también cuestionó a Mauricio Macri, a quien le endilgó practicar “socialismo de buenos modales”, pero coincidió con el expresidente de Juntos por el Cambio al afirmar que la “decadencia argentina arrancó hace poco más de 100 años cuando llegó la Unión Cívica Radical al poder”.
El diputado libertario generó polémica con sus últimas declaraciones sobre el tráfico de órganosTambién sostuvo que “si fuera elegido presidente, no voy a impulsar ni voy a promover el comercio y las relaciones con gobiernos de izquierda. Si la decisión del sector privado es comercializar y tener lazos con ellos, es un problema de ellos, yo con los mamertos no transo”.
Milei inició su gira el fin de semana pasado como protagonista de la CPAC 2022 en San Pablo, junto a Eduardo Bolsonaro y José Antonio Kast. Después, viajó a Bogotá para dar una charla a sala llena en un teatro local. Sin embargo, antes de partir el liberal protagonizó un fuerte cruce con la dirigente de la Coalición Cívica, Elisa Carrió.
“Lilita” había rechazado toda posibilidad de que Juntos por el Cambio pueda aliarse con el espacio de La Libertad Avanza. “Juntos por el Cambio se va a consolidar en marzo y después con otras alianzas. Yo creo que con esto del tráfico de órganos, si votás a Milei, votás a un genocida”, resaltó la ex diputada, quien reapareció en la escena política después de un largo silencio.
La respuesta del libertario no tardó en llegar: “Carrió y una parte de Juntos por el Cambio apelan nuevamente a herramientas difamatorias con el objetivo de ensuciar a sus adversarios políticos. Lo hicieron durante las PASO 2021 desde una de sus listas, y ahora lo hace una de sus referentes”.
