Fernández y Taiana se reunieron para analizar la gira del ministro por Francia y Alemania
Se encontró con el ministro de las Fuerzas Armadas de Francia, Sébastien Lecornu, y con la titular de Defensa de Alemania, Christine Lambrecht, con la colaboración mutua y la guerra en Ucrania como tópicos principales.
El presidente de la Nación, Alberto Fernández, recibió esta tarde en Casa Rosada, al ministro de Defensa, Jorge Taiana, para analizar los resultados de la gira del ministro por Francia y Alemania donde mantuvo encuentros bilaterales con sus pares y recorrió astilleros para recuperar la capacidad submarina de la Armada Argentina.
Por otra parte, el funcionario puso en conocimiento al presidente sobre las acciones que se tomaron para erradicar las prácticas violentas que se suscitan dentro de los regimientos militares. “Venimos intensificando las campañas de concientización dentro del Ejército y hemos tomado una serie de medidas más rigurosas desde el fallecimiento del Subteniente Chirino en Paso de los Libres”, explicó.
Asimismo, le informó al mandatario sobre las reuniones de trabajo que realizó con el ministro de las Fuerzas Armadas de Francia, Sébastien Lecornu, y con la titular de Defensa de Alemania, Christine Lambrecht, junto a quienes abordó las consecuencias del conflicto bélico en Ucrania y la colaboración mutua.
En esta línea Taiana también le transmitió al presidente los avances en la labor de restablecimiento de la capacidad submarina argentina, luego de su recorrida por el astillero francés Naval Group y el alemán de la firma Thyssenkrupp.
“Tuvimos una muy productiva reunión con el presidente para profundizar sobre el resultado de la gira”, afirmó el ministro tras el encuentro con el jefe de Estado, y agregó: “Con el objetivo de evaluar distintas opciones para recuperar la capacidad submarina para poder garantizar el ejercicio pleno de nuestra soberanía y la defensa de nuestros recursos”.
