El subsecretario de Tránsito de la Municipalidad de San Miguel de Tucumán, Enrique Romero, afirmó que el servicio de transporte privado denominado Uber no está autorizado a circular por la ciudad capital, como tampoco lo están los servicios de cadetería como Pedidos Ya, al señalar que “ninguna de esas actividades están reglamentadas esas actividades.
Por lo tanto, en el caso de Uber, no tenemos forma de controlarlos, cómo se les da el carnet profesional, cómo se les pide el certificado de antecedentes y de reincidencia”.
En caso de ser autorizado, Romero advirtió que habrá que hacer una estricta regulación del mismo, porque ya lo tenemos a Uber en el aeropuerto (Benjamín Matienzo), donde hay vehículos sin ningún tipo de identificación ni control. Por eso creo que es un tema que hay que tratarlo con mucho cuidado”.
Otro tema que merece un tratamiento especial, es la actividad relacionada con Pedidos Ya, a lo que Romero indicó que “no está reglamentada y a diario nos genera todo tipo de problemas, son los más transgresores”.
Sostuvo que “no podemos encontrar al titular de la empresa, todo se maneja en forma electrónica y no podemos saber quién es el dueño de esa empresa. Pero ocurre con todas esas empresas de servicios”.
Por otro lado, Romero ratificó que el municipio exige a los usuarios de monopatín (eléctricos y a explosión), la licencia de conducir al asegurar que la ley lo exige, desde febrero de este año se recategorizó las licencias de conducir donde se incluyó a los vehículos electrónicos.
