Necesitamos voluntad política para alcanzarlo, pero estamos más cerca. Concepción está en el cruce de las rutas 65 y 38, y ahora podría estar en una salida directa al Pacífico por el paso de San Francisco», explicó.
Consultado respecto a las internas dentro de Juntos por el Cambio, el radical aliado al alfarismo, insistió en que el camino para determinar las candidaturas pueden ser las internas: «es inminente conocer el calendario electoral, pronto sabremos las fechas porque el oficialismo acerca el arco cuando les conviene. Esto claramente es un apartamiento de reglas claras, acomodando elecciones a gusto y paladar del oficialismo. Sin embargo, con esto en puerta, necesitamos que de nuestro lado prime la inteligencia política para construir el consenso que hace falta para las candidaturas», explicó.
Y agregó: «comenzaron las reuniones entre Alfaro y Roberto Sánchez, el diálogo es importante para dar lugar al consenso. Las candidaturas surgirán con los mecanismos dispuestos por la mesa nacional de Juntos por el Cambio: el diálogo, las encuestas, los consensos y el último remedio son las internas para definir las candidaturas».
Albarracín insistió en que mantiene sus aspiraciones a ser el candidato a intendente por el espacio, para suceder a Sánchez. «En el grupo de trabajo político nos venimos preparando, la gente en la calle entiende que es un paso natural, de trabajar en la Legislatura en proyectos que redunden para la sección y Concepción, esperamos ese momento», expuso.
