Pasó el carnaval: ¿Cuándo será el próximo fin de semana largo?
Terminó el fin de semana XXL y mucha gente se pregunta cuando es el próximo “fin de semana largo”, ya con el ciclo lectivo iniciado.
Finalizado el primer fin de semana extra largo de 2023, ya comenzaron las preguntas acerca de cuándo cae el próximo. El decreto presidencial para el calendario de este año prevé 14 feriados inamovibles, 2 trasladables y 3 con fines turísticos, sumando un total de 19 días de descanso.
Previo a los días feriados por Semana Santa hay dos: el del viernes 24 de marzo, por el Día Nacional de la Memoria por la Verdad y la Justicia, y el domingo 2 de abril, por el Día del Veterano y los Caídos en la guerra de Malvinas. Ambos son inamovibles.
En el primer caso se trataría del primer fin de semana largo con el ciclo lectivo ya iniciado y los chicos en las escuelas. A continuación los próximos días de descanso serán en Semana Santa: el jueves 6 de abril será día no laborable y el el día 7, Viernes Santo, será feriado.
La diferencia entre día feriado y no laborables está aclarado en la Ley de Contratos de Trabajo. Para los feriados nacionales rigen las mismas consideraciones que para el descanso dominical: en caso de ser trabajado ese día se recompensará con un 100% más la remuneración habitual.
En cambio, para los días no laborables, no se pagará el doble de la jornada al que lo trabaje y es el empleador quien debe definir si los trabajadores asistirán o no a sus puestos.
