Proponen ampliar las licencias por paternidad
La diputada correntina Sofía Brambilla presentó la iniciativa, que apunta a promover la corresponsabilidad familiar.
La diputada nacional Sofia Brambilla (Pro) presentó un proyecto de ley que propone ampliar la licencia por paternidad a 15 días, con carácter de obligatoria y remunerada, en reemplazo del régimen actual que solo contempla dos días y sin obligatoriedad.
La iniciativa, que se suma a las ya presentadas en este mismo sentido por otros de sus pares, plantea una modificación del régimen de licencias por nacimiento y una ampliación de licencias para paternidades y personas no gestantes que ejercen la corresponsabilidad parental.
Actualmente, el régimen de licencia por maternidad la obliga a dejar de trabajar 45 o 30 días antes de la fecha presunta de parto, y hasta 45 o 60 días posteriores.
El proyecto propone agregar una licencia familiar de 30 días, de carácter transferible, obligatorio y remunerado para que cada familia pueda decidir quién la utiliza. De esta manera, le da a la persona que ha dado a luz la posibilidad de ceder los días de licencia posteriores al puerperio (30 días después del parto) a su cónyuge, conviviente, al otro progenitor del recién nacido o a la persona con la que comparta la responsabilidad parental.
“Es fundamental que la licencia por paternidad sea obligatoria y remunerada, ya que al no tener esas características hoy en día, la mayoría de los padres deciden no tomarlas y se continúan repitiendo los estereotipos de género”, expresó Brambilla.
La legisladora macrista resaltó que “la importancia de este proyecto es seguir educando desde la igualdad de oportunidades, fundamental para el presente y el futuro de las familias argentinas, y lograr, por sobre todas las cosas, que el cuidado del recién nacido se ejerza en forma alternada o compartida, para que la mujer pueda volver a la actividad laboral, en el momento en que se encuentre en condiciones y segura para hacerlo”.
“Las sociedades han cambiado, pero la desigualdad de género está presente en múltiples aspectos de la realidad social argentina, y una forma concreta de hacerlo es trabajar la legislación para que se siga protegiendo a las personas gestantes, sin que esto resulte negativo para su carrera profesional”, señalan los fundamentos de la iniciativa
