La iniciativa fue presentada por el diputado oficialista Marcelo Casaretto quien resaltó que “la idea es eliminar los promedios para determinar los descensos de categoría en el fútbol argentino”.

A tan solo cinco fechas de que culmine el vigente torneo de Primera División previo al Mundial, desde AFA ya dieron a conocer que la próxima realización de la Liga Profesional de Fútbol 2023 será de 30 equipos. En ese sentido, el diputado nacional Marcelo Casaretto (FdT – Entre Ríos) presentó un proyecto para declararlo de interés.

El legislador explicó que la Liga Profesional que AFA propone para el año que viene será de 30 equipos, suprimiendo los descensos de la actual temporada puesto que se determinarían por promedios de puntajes de las competencias 2020, 2021 y 2022 afectadas por las consecuencias de la pandemia del Coronavirus.

Entre los fundamentos, el entrerriano destaca que “el fútbol es el deporte más popular del país”, y que “los torneos se han reestructurado en numerosas ocasiones, modificando la cantidad de equipos participantes en cada categoría, los ascensos y descensos”.

En el cuerpo de la iniciativa detalló lo que sería el torneo de 30 equipos: se dividirá en dos zonas de 15 con 14 partidos más un interzonal. Los cuatro mejores de cada zona se cruzarían en cuartos de final, luego semifinales y una final única para determinar al campeón. “Pero la primera instancia del torneo sería decisiva para el segundo semestre”, aclara.

“Es que al torneo de 20 clubes que pelearían por el otro título de la temporada, clasificarían los 10 mejores de cada zona de la Copa LPF que se jugaría en el arranque del año. Allí armarían un campeonato de 17 fechas todos contra todos para determinar un campeón”, explaya.

Y remarca: “Acá otro gran cambio a los 5 últimos de cada zona del primer campeonato, se sumarían los 10 mejores posicionados de la Primera Nacional para disputar el Torneo Primera Clasificatorio LPF.”

“En el 2023 podría haber 10 descendidos y 10 ascendidos, ya que estos 20 jugarían para quedarse con 10 lugares en Primera. En este caso también serían 19 fechas y los 10 mejores se asegurarían un lugar en la Liga mientras que los 10 peores irán al Nacional en el 2024”, desarrolla el texto.

En ese sentido, el proyecto remarca que la idea “es eliminar los promedios para determinar los descensos por categorías en el fútbol argentino y que la movilidad deportiva se de por los resultados de la temporada en disputa”.

“Se eliminaría la reglamentación actual de que los descensos promedien los años 2020,2021 y 2022 que tienen una gran distorsión porque consideran 2020 y 2021 en los años de pandemia que tuvo un fuerte impacto con fechas suspendidas, planteles incompletos”, fundamenta respecto a la explicación brindada por AFA
