Proponen regular el uso de monopatines eléctricos
El concejal Agustín Romano Norri presentó hoy un proyecto con el que propone crear el marco regulatorio de los “Dispositivos de movilidad personal urbana”, a los que se les exigiría principalmente el uso de casco, luces, elementos reflectantes y sistema de frenos en sus ruedas.
“La experiencia a nivel mundial demuestra que estos dispositivos de movilidad urbana personal permite mejorar el traslado en trayectos cortos y que además cuentan con el beneficio de ser eléctricos, lo que colabora a reducir la contaminación ambiental.
Sin embargo, la irrupción de estos nuevos vehículos en la vía pública implica que ante la mayor utilización de estos por parte de las personas es necesario su regulación a los fines de cubrir el vacío normativo relativo a sus condiciones de circulación y a atender eventuales problemas de convivencia en el espacio público de los distintos actores del tránsito”, expresó Romano Norri en los fundamentos de la iniciativa.
Respecto de la licencia de conducir, quedarían exentos los conductores de vehículos personales que no excedan los 25 kilos de peso y que tengan una velocidad máxima de circulación de 25 km/h.
