Recuerdan a Néstor Kirchner a 18 años de su asunción presidencial
La fórmula del Frente para la Victoria en la que Kirchner estaba junto a Daniel Scioli, salió segunda detrás del Frente por la Lealtad de Carlos Menem, que había renunciado a presentarse al ballotage.
Con sólo el 22% de los votos, Kirchner, quien durante la campaña de 2003 había sido un dirigente desconocido para muchos, arrancaba su gestión junto al actual mandatario Alberto Fernández designado como jefe de Gabinete, en una fecha excepcional tras la entrega del poder del entonces presidente elegido por la Asamblea Legislativa, Eduardo Duhalde, y en medio de una de las peores crisis de la historia del país.
En las elecciones presidenciales del 27 de abril de 2003 la fórmula Kirchner-Daniel Scioli, del Frente para la Victoria, obtuvo 4.312.517 votos, lo que representaba el 22,24 por ciento del total, resultando segunda detrás de la fórmula encabezada por el expresidente Carlos Menem, quien luego se retiró del balotaje -las encuestas indicaban que iba a perder por amplio margen- y no hubo segunda vuelta.
Al conmemorarse un nuevo aniversario de esa asunción, pero además por los 221 años de la Revolución de Mayo, la vicepresidenta Cristina Fernández de Kirchner publicó en sus redes sociales una imagen de su esposo besando la bandera nacional y escribió: «En tiempos difíciles, mas unidos y solidarios que nunca. ¡Viva la Patria, argentinos y argentinas!».
También desde las redes, el ministro del Interior, Eduardo «Wado» De Pedro, se remontó al 25 de mayo de 2003 para recordar «el sueño de volver a construir una Argentina unida, una Argentina para todos y todas» que por entonces -dijo- propuso Kirchner, y en ese sentido acotó: «Ese sueño aún nos guía en la reconstrucción argentina, gracias Néstor».
En tanto, la diputada nacional y vicepresidenta 1° del Partido Justicialista, Cristina Álvarez Rodríguez, posteó que «el 25 de mayo de 2003 llegó Néstor para proponernos otra revolución: entre todos y todas pusimos a la Argentina de pie, recuperando la dignidad y el trabajo».
El senador nacional y presidente del PJ porteño, Mariano Recalde, señaló, también en referencia a Kirchner: «Un presidente volvía a hablarnos de Patria, de soberanía, del orgullo de ser argentinos. Un presidente nos convocaba a recuperar la autoestima y a transformarlo todo. Nunca nos vamos a olvidar de ese día».
La asunción del santacruceño en 2003 fue recordada asimismo por distintos protagonistas del FdT, que compartieron videos en sus respectivas cuentas de Twitter, en su mayoría imágenes compiladas de aquel momento, como también actos icónicos de la trayectoria de Kirchner e incluso el discurso de asunción.
La Cámpora, por caso, destacó una frase de Kirchner en ese mensaje leído frente al Parlamento: «Reinstalar la movilidad social ascendente que caracterizó a la República Argentina requiere comprender que los problemas de la pobreza no se solucionan desde las políticas sociales, sino desde las políticas económicas»
A su vez, desde la cuenta oficial del FdT, la coalición oficialista manifestó: «Este proyecto nacional convoca a todos y a cada uno de los ciudadanos argentinos a poner mano a la obra en este trabajo de refundar la Patria».
«Soñé toda la vida que este, nuestro país, se podía cambiar para bien: vengo a proponerles un sueño», fue la frase que eligió difundir el espacio político Unidad Ciudadana, creado en 2017 por la vicepresidenta Cristina Fernández.
La titular de Anses, Fernanda Raverta, también se refirió al aniversario de la asunción de 2003 y en ese sentido remarcó: «18 años de aquel 25 de mayo del 2003, donde comenzó el tiempo en el que volvimos a recuperar el amor, la esperanza y la autoestima».
En tanto, el intendente de La Matanza, Fernando Espinoza, le dedicó un mensaje al expresidente fallecido en el año 2010: «Querido Néstor, honramos tu enorme fortaleza y convicción. Seguimos trabajando cada día por una Argentina unida y soberana, como vos nos enseñaste. Seguimos cuidando tu legado y hoy más que nunca luchamos por los derechos del pueblo trabajador y por una patria con justicia social», afirmó el matancero.
Otro intendente, Juan Zabaleta de Hurlingham, compartió un video con actos encabezados por Kirchner junto a la leyenda «siempre presente en el corazón del pueblo» mientras que el jefe comunal de Ushuaia, Walter Vuoto, escribió: «Que el recuerdo y las enseñanzas de Néstor nos sigan marcando el rumbo para construir ese país con el que soñamos».
La diputada nacional Vanesa Siley (FdT-Buenos Aires), quien además es secretaria general de la Federación de Sindicatos de Trabajadores Judiciales, posteó «¡Primero la Patria, siempre. Gracias Néstor!» mientras que el legislador del Parlasur y secretario general del Suterh Víctor Santa María manifestó: «Néstor Kirchner asumió la presidencia de un país devastado y gracias a su inmensa labor nos devolvió la esperanza de que otro país, con memoria, trabajo y crecimiento, era posible».
También la legisladora porteña Lorena Pokoik (FdT) recordó en Twitter que «hace 18 años nacía la esperanza de los argentinos: Néstor asumía como presidente y cambiaba el rumbo de la historia. Sí, justo un 25 de mayo».
La asunción de Kirchner se concretó un domingo que era feriado y tuvo un primer momento inesperado, fuera de protocolo, luego de que el presidente se cortara en la frente por un desafortunado choque con la cámara de un fotógrafo: el entonces mandatario, en su ingreso a la Casa Rosada tras la jura y el discurso en el Congreso, quería acercarse a la gente para mostrar que algo empezaba a cambiar.
Eran tiempos en los que subsistía un recelo generalizado con la dirigencia, tras el colapso de la Convertibilidad, la caída del gobierno de la Alianza y la crisis social de 2001/2002, y muchos dirigentes buscaban reconstruir la legitimidad de la política, porque todavía resonaban los ecos del «Que se vayan todos».
En su discurso de asunción, Kirchner aseguró: «Venimos desde el Sur del mundo y queremos fijar, junto a ustedes, los argentinos, prioridades nacionales y construir políticas de Estado a largo plazo para de esa manera crear futuro y crear tranquilidad. Sabemos a dónde vamos y sabemos adónde no queremos ir o volver».
Aquel discurso, junto a las acciones de Gobierno que siguieron después, construyeron una de las identidades más estables de la política argentina posterior al 2001.
