La denominación del espacio es Juntos por el Cambio, tenemos muchos temas para discutir, pero hay un tema que no nos tiene que desvelar o dividir que son las PASO. Es la gente quien definirá con los votos quien los representa.
Uno siempre intenta buscar los consensos y los acuerdos para buscar una lista de unidad. No hay tensiones en ese debate porque si no logramos consenso, las PASO alinean esto. Cada elección es distinta, le pongo más énfasis en que la mesa este constituida. El día 14 llegaremos como manda la ley con la inscripción y nos daremos la posibilidad de consolidar una lista común» dijo
En cuanto al tema de la incorporación de Ricardo Bussi, manifestó «No es lo que piense José Cano ni Mariano Campero, es lo que diga la mesa. Nos debemos el respeto a quienes integran la mesa, que son los presidentes de los partidos, los que representan esos espacios en la mesa, y siempre plantee que las incorporaciones al espacio se deben dar en el marco del debate en donde está la mesa. Es dificultoso cuando uno dice que quiere formar un frente y después sistemáticamente ataca a la oposición, yo no pierdo tiempo en hablar de dirigentes de otros espacios, cuando hay que poner el foco en Tucumán porque es inadmisible que Osvaldo Jaldo o Juan Manzur estén discutiendo quien va a gobernar la provincia como si los votos de los tucumanos no contarán» .
“Yo lo que dije es que sería una novedad que Ricardo Bussi forme parte de la oposición. Entiendo la posición de Domingo Amaya, y hay otros actores que plantean lo mismo. Yo no quiero una suma cero, quiero respetar las opiniones de todos los dirigentes con los que hicimos un camino. Yo no voy a ser parte de sumar un actor, que logra que se vayan muchos otros porque quiero consolidar mi espacio. La decisión democrática es de un partido, no de una persona.» agregó
En cuanto a la normalización del Partido Radical manifestó «Todos queremos que se normalice el partido. Se intervino porque un sector del radicalismo hizo un justo planteo en la justicia electoral. Había afiliados nuevos, con fichas presentadas en tiempo y forma que no figuraban en el padrón y no podía participar del proceso interno, se hizo ese planteo y se suspendieron las internas, luego intervino por la justicia y fue designado Lucho Argañaraz como interventor por el consenso de todo el radicalismo. Luego vino la pandemia, hoy entiendo que el interventor iniciara el proceso de convocatoria a interna a partir de que finalice el proceso electoral en noviembre. Pero no es que a nosotros nos guste que el partido intervenido, también digo, no por el caso de Eudoro Araoz, que hay muchos dirigentes que sólo hablan de las internas, pero de Juan Manzur no hablan nada “.
En la sección de “PING PONG” se le pregunto si quería ser Senador en 2021, a lo que respondió “me gustaría seguir representando a Tucumán en el Congreso, pero nunca voy a anteponer el deseo personal a la construcción de un proyecto colectivo que le dé a los tucumanos una oportunidad de cambio”. Por último, le consultó si resignaría ser candidato en 2023 por la unión de la oposición, a lo que manifestó “Absolutamente, resignaría ser candidato”
