El diputado tucumano afirmó: “Tengo el apoyo del presidente nacional de mi partido”, para los comicios de este año. Además, remarcó que la UCR está en “pleno crecimiento”.
El diputado nacional Roberto Sánchez (UCR – Tucumán) negó que el presidente de la UCR a nivel nacional, el jujeño Gerardo Morales, lo haya instado a declinar de su candidatura a gobernador por su provincia de cara a las elecciones del 14 de mayo
“No, en ningún momento él me habló para que me baje. Hablamos permanentemente, pero esos son trascendidos, y sí es cierto que se escuchó en algún momento este fin de semana; pero lo concreto es que la Convención provincial de mi partido, por unanimidad, me proclamó como candidato (a gobernador) de la UCR, y también dispuso la autorización para formar frentes”, aseveró el tucumano en declaraciones al programa Buen Día de LG Play.
En ese sentido, remarcó que se trata de “rumores y trascendidos, como hay otros tantos”. Y mencionó versiones sobre “otras candidaturas” en San Miguel de Tucumán. “Pero bueno, son rumores y trascendidos, nada más que eso”, remarcó.
Sánchez descartó además que estos “dimes y diretes” puedan estar vinculados con alguna intención dentro de su espacio para debilitar su postulación. “No creo eso, porque tengo periódicamente conversaciones con Gerardo (Morales); es más, él ya vino a Tucumán a darme su apoyo político. Es hoy candidato a presidente de la Nación, en pocos días lanza su candidatura, y lo que quiere el radicalismo nacional es tener sus postulantes, así como ha pasado en La Pampa”, indicó.
A su vez, enfatizó que “la UCR está en pleno crecimiento, y quiere ofrecer candidatos a nivel nacional y también en cada una de las provincias”.
“Tengo el apoyo del presidente de mi partido a nivel nacional, tenemos que seguir caminando y recorriendo la provincia, cada municipio y comuna, como lo venimos haciendo. Es posible un Tucumán mejor. Es una provincia donde hace 20 años la gobiernan los mismos y todos los indicadores están muy mal en comparación a otros distritos. Hemos dejado de ser el Jardín de la República, mientras en otros lugares, como Jujuy, sí han progresado”, añadió Sánchez.
Además, recordó su paso como intendente de Concepción. “Hemos transformado nuestra ciudad, y entiendo que es posible hacer eso en la provincia”, señaló y propuso “dejarle la alfombra roja a las empresas que se quieran instalar” y “sacarle el pie de la cabeza a las que ya están”. “La gente quiere una transformación, tanto a nivel nacional como provincial”, remarcó.
