Destacaron la necesidad de un gobierno de coalición para vencer a la inflación

El jefe de Gobierno porteño continúa su gira por Israel y ya se muestra como un candidato a la Casa Rosada.

El jefe de Gobierno porteño, Horacio Rodríguez Larret​a, se reunió con Isaac Herzog, presidente de Israel, quien lo recibió en la residencia presidencial Beit HaNassi. Durante el encuentro, además de destacar la necesidad de apoyo político para vencer a la inflación, Herzog le agradeció a Rodríguez Larreta la colaboración de la Policía de la Ciudad en la investigación del caso del avión venezolano con tripulación iraní​ retenido en la Argentina.

Durante el encuentro, Rodríguez Larreta indicó que el objetivo de su gira fue conocer de primera mano la transformación económica israelí tras la experiencia inflacionaria de la década del 80. En esta línea, el presidente destacó que la salida de la inflación implicó esfuerzo y austeridad, pero también un convencimiento de la sociedad y de los líderes políticos de que derrotar a la inflación era posible. Para ello, Herzog destacó la construcción de un gobierno de coalición con amplio apoyo político en los 80, y la prioridad que los sucesivos gobiernos dieron al tema.

“La Argentina e Israel tienen un gran potencial de cooperar para construir un camino de desarrollo”, señaló Rodríguez Larreta, e indicó que es necesario profundizar la relación entre ambos países. Luego de Brasil y México, la Argentina es el tercer país de Latinoamérica que más exporta a Israel, con una balanza comercial tradicionalmente superavitaria. Por su parte, Herzog lo recibió y destacó su visita como “una clara señal de amistad al pueblo de Israel”, al tiempo que le agradeció al jefe de Gobierno la colaboración de la Policía de la Ciudad en la investigación del caso del avión venezolano con tripulación iraní​ retenido en la Argentina. Por otro lado, Herzog indicó que la Argentina tiene un potencial enorme para alimentar al mundo en un contexto global atravesado por la guerra en Ucrania.

El encuentro, que se extendió durante media hora, fue muy cordial. Herzog le comentó que conoció la Argentina como presidente de la Agencia Judía, y destacó la gran cantidad de jóvenes israelíes que deciden viajar a conocer nuestro país cuando toman su año sabático. Por su parte, Rodríguez Larreta destacó el ecosistema de innovación israelí y la transformación económica. Asimismo, enfatizó que todos los funcionarios y expertos con los que se reunió coincidieron en que la política de consenso fue fundamental para darle sustento y continuidad al plan económico.

Junto a Fernando Straface, secretario general y de Relaciones Internacionales, Rodrí​guez Larreta fue recibido luego por el presidente de la Knéset​, el​ Parlamento de Israel, Mickey Levy, que anteriormente se desempeñó como jefe de Policía de Judea, Samaria y Jerusalén. Además, se reunió con​​ Eitan Ginzburg, parlamentario de Resiliencia por Israel y presidente del Grupo de Amistad Parlamentaria con la Argentina. Ginzburg, nacido en La Plata, destacó​ que el debate político en su país​ está aislado del rumbo de la economía​​​​, sobre el cual existe un consenso amplio entre las fuerzas políticas. Ginzburg y Rodríguez Larreta también coincidieron en la necesidad de aumentar la cooperación​ en materia económica entre ambos países. Por su parte, el jefe de Gobierno invitó a ambos parlamentarios a visitar la ciudad de Buenos Aires y se comprometió con Ginzburg a conversar con los legisladores de Juntos por el Cambio para impulsar un grupo de Amistad Parlamentaria con Israel.

Por la tarde, Rodríguez Larreta se dirigió al Museo del Holocausto Yad Vashem, el museo de la Shoá más importante del mundo, ​que suelen visitar los jefes de Estado y líderes intern​acionales en sus visitas oficiales a Israel.​ El jefe de Gobierno recorrió el museo junto al presidente de la institución, el argentino Dani Dayan, colocó una​ ofrenda floral y avivó la llama eterna, que ilumina el lugar en memoria de las víctimas del Holocausto. “Debemos recordar y aprender para que lo que pasó no se repita en la historia”, señaló el jefe de Gobierno.

Asimismo, el jefe de Gobierno visitó​​ las oficinas de Start-Up Nation Central, una organización independiente que conecta empresas, áreas gubernamentales y ONG con el sector de innovación israelí con alto potencial de crecimiento, mediante el acceso a mercados de alto potencial. Rodrígu​ez Larreta se interesó especialmente en los proyectos de agri food tech e industria 4.0 de la organización. Finalmente, Rodríguez Larreta y Straface se reunieron con Eyal Sela, próximo embajador de Israel en la Argentina, y con Jonathan Peled, director de Asuntos de América Latina en la Cancillería israelí.
