Los intendentes de Yerba Buena, Mariano Campero, y de Concepción, Roberto Sánchez, anunciaron que se postulan como precandidatos para las elecciones legislativas de este año compitiendo en las PASO dentro del espacio de Juntos por el Cambio.
Campero será candidato a senador nacional, mientras que Sánchez se postulará para la Cámara de Diputados.
Ambos mandatarios llevan seis años al frente de sus comunas y aún les quedan otros dos años de mandato.
En ese sentido, Campero declaró que las candidaturas no son testimoniales.
“Si ganamos, asumiremos en el Congreso.
Uno de los desafíos es continuar la gobernabilidad y no atornillarse al sillón. Nos estamos yendo antes y eso es inédito en la provincia”.
Los Concejos Deliberantes de cada ciudad serán los encargados de designar a los reemplazantes de Campero y Sánchez en ambas intendencias, en el caso de que resulten electos y deban asumir el próximo 10 de diciembre en el Parlamento.
