Subió un 30% el precio de la carne
En el Mercado de Liniers, hubo poca oferta de ganado y una alta demanda, lo cual disparó los valores. No descartan que haya nuevas subas en los próximos días.
En la previa al primer día del cese de comercialización dispuesto por el campo que comienza este jueves y se extenderá hasta el 28 de mayo, el precio de la hacienda en el Mercado de Liniers se incrementó un 28,17%, un valor que no tardaría en llegar a los consumidores.
Este miércoles el ingreso de cabezas fue muy inferior al de la media diaria, y se pasó de las hasta 9000 habituales a las 5791.
En medio de este escenario, el Índice General saltó un 28,17%, al pasar de $ 128,794 a $ 165,075 por kilo, mientras que el Índice Novillo ganó un 3,61% al pasar de 177,525 a 183,938 pesos.
Según los analistas, ante la menor oferta de ganado se generó un fuerte interés por parte de los compradores que, ante la necesidad de hacerse de stock debido al paro de ocho días, terminaron convalidando precios más altos. Este escenario se desató luego de que el gobierno nacional cerrara las exportaciones de carne vacuna por 30 días y que las entidades del campo decidieran tomar medidas de fuerza.
El foco ahora estará puesto, entonces, en la repercusión que tendrá esto en el precio final que pagan los consumidores, lo que termina incidiendo también en la inflación.
Según sostuvo Alberto Williams, presidente de la Asociación de Propietarios de Carnicerías, «el golpe será total».
«Lo que aumentó la hacienda luego se traslada a las carnicerías; no hay demasiada vuelta. Y por supuesto el movimiento también se observará en lo que deban pagar los consumidores», resaltó.
Además, precisó que, según su visión, este comportamiento ascendente de precios se mantendrá durante los próximos días, «pero se acentuará en la medida de que el paro vaya transcurriendo y la oferta de ganado no llegue».
