El Gobierno declaró Emergencia hídrica ante la bajada del Río Paraná

La decisión se formalizó a través de un Decreto publicado este lunes en el Boletín Oficial

El presidente Alberto Fernández firmó junto a Santiago Cafiero el Decreto 482/2021, publicado este lunes en el Boletín Oficial, a traves del cual se declaró el «Estado de Emergencia Hídrica» por 180 días «en aquellos sectores del territorio abarcado por la región de la Cuenca del Río Paraná, que afecta a las Provincias de Formosa, Chaco, Corrientes, Santa Fe, Entre Ríos, Misiones y Buenos Aires, sobre las márgenes de los ríos Paraná, Paraguay e Iguazú«.

La decisión se tomó ante la histórica bajante que se registra en esa región, la más importante de los últimos 77 años.

De igual modo, el decreto instruye a diferentes áreas del Gobierno a adoptar medidas para «mitigar las consecuencias de la grave situación que genera la bajante».

Así, los ministerios de Desarrollo Productivo y de Trabajo establecerán las acciones pertinentes para la preservación de la actividad productiva y puestos de trabajo; Obras Públicas dispondrá y monitoreará la realización de obras de infraestructura; Seguridad, a través del Sistema Nacional de Alerta Temprana y Monitoreo de Emergencias (SINAME), planificará las medidas de apoyo y toma de decisiones, y por intermedio del Sistema Nacional para la Gestión Integral del Riesgo (SINAGIR), asistirá las poblaciones ribereñas.

En esa línea Ambiente y Desarrollo Sustentable mantendrá el control de incendios.

En tanto, el Ministerio de Transporte «observará las posibilidades de navegación y acceso a puertos; el Instituto Nacional del Agua brindará sus servicios técnicos con relación a la emergencia; la Secretaría de Energía, asegurará el abastecimiento de energía eléctrica y el Ministerio del Interior se encargará de la coordinación con las provincias afectadas».

Asimismo, se define la suspensión de plazos administrativos en las regiones afectadas, según informó el Gobierno. El déficit de precipitaciones en las cuencas brasileñas del río Paraná y del río Iguazú y la sequía son factores determinantes.
